Leon has been one of the most underused players in the NFL, especially after his injury.

If the Pats are smart enough to give him a chance to play a little RB he will be a matchup nightmare and a nice addition to their already great screen game.

    Fact.

BB will know how to get the best out of his abilities. Hoping we pick some quick LB's soon to replace our cement shoes brigade that left via "the Exodus"

    Such is the NFL.

I wish him the best of luck...even if it's with the Pats. A stand up guy indeed.

Maybe we should bring in Woodhead?

    Really?

Leon Washington is now some folk hero in JI lore? When did that happen?

He is kick returner with a stupid ***** wife - that f'd up his life and made a terrible business/life decision. He was GREAT for us but he screwed it up - I wish him the best but he's a 30 year old specialist...I really shrug my shoulders at him playing for the Spygates.

    Nice hat, actually.

Are they hanging those posters over the urinals? Wash your hands, Leon.

He had some stellar returns in Washington but does he offer enough at this stage of his career to occupy a roster spot on the Patriots ?
Does BillB. think he can capture Leon of old ? So many Hatfield and McCoy story lines, so little time.

I Don't see how this impacts Woodhead, he got what a 50,000 bonus? I think he is a KR and a up guy in the PR team if he makes it thru camp

He is 31 years old, 4-5 years ago this might have been upsetting, but not now. Pats are essentially replacing Woodhead and/or Edelman with an older player. He'll be a solid scat back, but with a serious leg injury under his belt, and now 31 years of age, a player of his size and ability, he will decline fast.

If the Jets land Mike Woodson, that is huge, with some real nice potential, that is news.
