Looks like Chandler Jones is an overrated bust.

Too bad Pennington and Becht are not still in the league, they could have had all the Jets first round picks from 2000.

Now this is a great pickup for them.

This time when the media ballwashes BB they will be justified.

My guess is that he replaces Ricky Jean-Francois on the roster.

Once again, comes down to health.

Not sure if this is true, but good signing if it is.

The New England Pats....where the 2000 New York Jets Draftees go to die.

Abe will be good for them. Even without Welker I expect the Pats to be playing from ahead a lot. Abe and Jones coming off the edges is pretty good with Wilfork demanding a double team.

Yup - once Haynesworth and Ocho-Cinco got em another ring, I was sure other teams would stop letting the Pats steal all the good players every year.

    ???

They've had field turf for about 5 years now.

So I guess the writing is on the wall for the Pats. Clock is running out so they are signing some old vets who only have a year or two left to make a final run.

I'm sure adrian wilson will be the next to sign.

Doesnt say much for the developing guys for the future.

Nice signing as a rotating bookend and mentor for Jones.

Chandler is far from being a bust. This should be a breakout year for him.

Abraham is a solid player. Good solid signing

They bring in vets every year. The team's average age last year was 25 and will be somewhere in the 25-26 range again this year.

The clock is running out on Brady, so they are doing everything they should. But they have 3 elite TEs under 25, Donald Thomas is now 25, and overall a young D and offensive line. When Brady can no longer be Brady, they have some guys in place to help.

    Last time I checked, you need 2 DE's in a 4-3 defense.
