Marcus Mariota are we pimping the whole 2016 draft class now. You have no clue if these guys will even be able to declare much less declare. You may want to follow your own advice with Bridgewater. Louisville is basically playing all low ranked teams now. The Big East is a shell and Loui didn't play one ranked opponent till their bowl game. It is basically like USC playing ND every year and calling it their big game. Yeah he looked good vs Florida but your still talking 1 game. Bridgewater very much has buyer beware written all over him IMO. Next years class is bad. Not one SR is worth even a 2nd rounder not even Boyd. I guess this is always the grass is greener. I wonder if the same people will be saying the same things next year. lol but 2015 looks even better!

You act like people overhype next years QB class every year. This is really the first time I can remember, outside of the Andrew Luck sweepstakes. There's a reason for it to.

If Bridgewater was eligible, he'd be the #1 pick this year. Mariota with another year of grooming will be a top 15 pick. Manziel's only flaw is his size. Seriously, find me another flaw in his game. Release, arm strength, mobility. Then there are guys like Chuckie Keeton and Tajh Boyd, whom I'd rather have than an EJ Manuel.

At this point, I can't see Jordan still being on the board at #9.

And if we get the 13th pick from Tampa Bay, I wouldn't want to go in the Patterson/Austin direction. Would rather take someone like Warmack/Cooper if available or even someone like Star, Eifert, or Vaccaro.

Otherwise, I like the Pugh, Rambo and Lattimore picks.

Stash Lattimore on the IR for a year then see what he can do in 2014.

    9 - Dion Jordan - PR
    13 - Cordarelle Patterson - WR
    39 - Justin Pugh - OG
    73 - Jordan Reed - TE
    74 - Bacarri Rambo - FS

    136 - Dwayne Gratz - CB
    166 - Miguel Maysonet - RB
    197 - Anthony McCloud - DL

I can easily go in depth about every selection and would gladly respond to any critiques. These are some of my favorite prospects and would set this franchise up for a decade.
I love the Maysonet pick however I highly doubt hes available this late. His pro day shot him up draft boards IMO.

He doesn't have the ability to run routes like Moss, who wasn't even spectacular at that, nor does he have his height or ability to catch the ball at his highest point like Moss, but his strides and acceleration compare to Randy.

I watched some of Randy's tape at Marshall then looked at Cordarrelle's tape. Very similar. Their lateral quickness and overall explosiveness is unmatched.

DHB was a combine freak. He had no explosiveness or quickness to his game. He was a straight line speedster, who in fact reminds me a lot of Stephen Hill. His hands were always questionable, and he never really showed anything at Ole Miss.

Cordarrelle however is a much different prospect. He lives off his explosiveness and lateral quickness. He's also built well at 6'2. Very different players. DHB was a track like athlete. Cordarelle is an NFL like athlete. He has a lot more fast twitch muscle in him. Also, his vision reminds me of Brandon Marshall. He's sneaky, I love it.
Fair enough, I look forward to seeing what becomes of Patterson. I'm hard on him because I didn't see him abuse Corners and Safeties very often. We'll see what happens to him this fall.

ftr; bey-bey is Denver's D. Thomas. That was his nickname. Bey Bey Thomas. I wasn't comparing Patterson's production to DHB.

Geno looks to be the real deal. Glennon and Bray have elite arm talent. Mannuel has everything physically you could ever want.

I want one of those 5. And the Jets will select Geno if he falls to #9.
I think Zak Dysert (miami of ohio) in the mid rounds is a great value, specifically for our new offense.

one reason i think idzik is adamant about getting a first rounder this year is so he can go offense and defense there. i still think there's a shot they take a dynamic wr but with only 1 pick in the first it's tougher. maybe mingo/jones and patterson. still want me some cordarelle.
