    Huge Game Tonight

    Got the butterflies...

We're playing Spain at home and, oddly enough, have a 2 point lead on them.

A win and we're in directly to WC. A tie and we're practically ensured to playoff round.

Should be a good game to watch if it's on.

If anyone watches a few young guys to check out:

    - Raphael Varane: central defender, 19, starts for Real Madrid...enough said. Kid is wise beyond his years and should be the defensive centerpiece for the next decade.

Blaise Matuidi: holding MF. Without a doubt the most improved French player since PSG went gonzo. Brings back Makele mamaries he's that good.

Paul Pogba: holding MF plays for Juventus, 20 years old. I've only seen him play once but seems to be the real deal

Both Varane and Pogba have 1 cap so Deschamps is being really bold throwing them into the fire.

No blizzard, but shouldn't have replaced the grass after the rugby match last week. Would have thrown a monkey wrench in their tiki-taka Oooh look at my passing skills

LOL! Just messing around. I was waiting for your response.

Good luck tonight. My late Mom was born in Paris, so I always root for France, even if they play Italy. This always made my Dad nuts.

    Thanks.

Only question mark is Benzema who's in a huge slump. Of he misses his first opportunity the crowd will start booing.

Spain not playing their best football so anything is possible. Gotta play better though.

Very lucky on the penalty that wasn't called.

I am about to watch the 2nd half. Missed the 1st. I am curious about the French side, have not seen them much lately. Plenty of quality but they have shown such a shocking lack of chemistry and national pride in the past. It is such an integral part of French culture to protest anything and everything...even their national team makes for interesting theatre.

That stream above no longer works.

Good luck in the second half, Raoul.

LOL. I would not want to risk my Mom's wrath. Plus, she did the cooking.

Wow, an actual World cup qualifying thread!

France has got alot of good young talent, thanks to their national soccer program which is one of the best going.

Spain is the top dog. They still have lots of game left.

I hope France does win their group still, You’ll have to beat the man, to be the man.

    Bonne chance aux bleus!

But not too much luck, FORZA ITALIA!
