He's already on our roster. He dates Victoria Secret models, but that's just a cover

It's obvious, but we shouldn't label people!

On a more serious note...I would say that the pro homosexual side definitely cares and the other side never really did. That's probably how a political issue that got shot down by most of the citizens in this country at the polls ended up at the USSC a few short years later.

Exactly. The only people who really care are the supporters of homosexuality. That's why all the Brady being gay jokes I've heard from Jets fans over the years never really meant anything. Who gives a rat's ass?

    And you're surprised by that?

That's like saying only minorities cared about civil rights in the 60s, whites didn't care and didn't want it. The problem is that when you're not the one on the short end of the stick, it's never a big deal. I'm surprised that isn't obvious but I guess we still have a way to go as a society.

Here is what I will say about this. If I was a GM of a major NY team the player would have to be an absolute "can't miss" for me to bring him in. I don't care what anybody says, in NY, with the media, it will be a distraction with an openly gay player.

Personally, I am indifferent towards gays but the reason why I wouldn't do it is basically the same reason why I wouldn't have brought Tebow in. You have to decide if the player is worth the everything else that comes with them.

Thanks for the respectful response, and there's no way I'm going to touch the straight line you gave me about being on the short end of the stick. I wouldn't touch that with a ten foot pole.

Let me sum up my feelings in as short a time as I can.

We The People have voted on homosexual marriage and have overwhelmingly chosen not to support it. That does not make those votes wrong. What's wrong is taking those votes and handing them over to an appointed judge to be overturned. And now the USSC is going to make a decision after adding a supporter of lesbian rights. It looks to me like the plight of the homosexual hasn't been the short end of the stick.

There are four phases of life that all living things must experience. They are birth, aging, reproduction and death. Homosexuals cannot reproduce. That would seem to make the act of homosexuality an unnatural act. How am I wrong?

Oh, and this comparison between the horrible oppression of blacks for their skin color during the 60's to a disagreement about homosexuality is something that needs it's own thread. We do a disservice to the victims of the atrocities that took place back then by comparing it to the homosexual experience now.

One last thing. Ah, never mind.

You are nor "wrong" per se but its just an opinion.

Suppose a married woman cannot reproduce?

Or a mans sperm count is too low.

Does that make sex with their spouses an unnatural act?

And wouldn't you agree 99% or sex is done without reproduction as a goal?

No that would be considered safe sex..

The 99% is what Bill Clinton practiced..

common - gay marriage is on the front page of google news and the NYT; it's the Human Rights struggle of this era.

Man whore; attention whore - what's the difference?
