I'm encouraged by hearing that we're not bringing in Ansah. I'm hoping that's indicative of this office understanding the obvious... he is not an OLB.
I have to agree with you on Ansah. Too little experience and he is probably a bigger risk than any of the QBs in this draft.

Does anyone know how many private visits we are allowed?

Thanks. I thought so. According to the original post we haven't even used half of that unless they are counting the combine, pro days, etc. So I guess we are going to wait until the last minute?

I'm kind of surprised about Dysert. I believe Tony mentioned that he wasn't being considered as an option. But that was several weeks ago and they probably have been going back through all the QB tape now that the market for veteran QBs is probably empty.

or his opinion and the jets opinion may differ. and they should take a qb this draft, so it makes sense to see who's worth developing and which round makes sense for these guys.

Jets have scheduled pre-draft visit with the top-rated CB -- Alabama's Dee Milliner, I'm told. Possible replacement for Revis?

Am told the New York Jets bring Armonty Bryant/DE-OLB/East Central Oklahoma in for a visit. Very impressive pro-day.

You know Holmes is campaigning Idzik to pick the guy.

@TonyPauline: D.J. Swearinger/S/South Carolina very busy man...has visited the Atlanta Falcons, Jacksonville Jaguars and will be visiting New York Jets..

@ConorTOrr: Few asked about this: #Jets have not scheduled a pre-draft visit w/ Barkevious Mingo but that's not neccesarily an indicator of interest

@ConorTOrr: A lot of pre-draft visits are for medical checkups, further questions. #Jets were at Mingo's pro day. Definitely an option for them at No. 9

How can these guys be so utterly stupid. Every year over the course of the draft we hear about half dozen of these types of things. Heck I'm sure there are a lot more we do not hear about.

Even if you are not a highly rated player you are risking a possible career that many people would love the chance for. If things go well you can become a rich man, but no, have to sell some weed.
