    Which OLB at #9?

From what I can see, there will potentially be three options at OLB at #9:

Mingo (excellent measurables with room for more weight on a tall frame. Inconsistent, but talented from big stage of SEC)
Jones (bad measurables, question of health, attitude? but by far the most productive out of college, also SEC tested)
Ansah (freaky measurables, raw, not a lot of experience, high upside but somewhat unknown)

Putting aside the alternatives at OL, or DT, which are not unreasonable, which of these three would you take, assuming you HAVE to pick one...

P.S. I'm still liking Jamie Collins, but he won't last to the third round. If he did, we'd be in perfect position to draft two offensive players in 1 and 2 (i.e., Cooper or Warmack in the first and somebody like Hunter or even Lacey in the second.

This is a flip flop for me. I was all Jarvis Jones until his Pro Day. Not so worried about his stenosis, but am worried about his lack of training and his lack of concern about his lack of training. He also doesn't seem to have much room for growth at 6'2" 240. Has he topped out? Certainly a tremendous producer in college.

Mingo is to my mind the safest pick of the three, even though he runs hot and cold. Great talent, room for weight gain, and better tested than Ansah. I think Rex could get production out of all three of these guys, but Mingo seems to have the best combo of physical gifts, size, and reasonable production. JMHO.

I actually think Jones is the safer play but Mingo because he is hot and cold he is more risky but his athleticism is amazing.

plus a nick name such as Ming the Merciless has to be the tie breaker

Would like the OG to be the pick. Seems to be highly safe pick

This is strictly a hypothetical, not necessarily a preference. I'm trying to see what the trends are re these three as well as any reasoning for the choices. So far a lot of posters have looked but very few have voted... strange. I'm not asking for anyones first born son, just click a box. Is that really so hard?

I don't mind taking an OG in the 1st round but up at #9?

Quite honestly, it's really tough to support taking a Guard in the Top 10 of the draft for me, especially if there's one or more disruptive pass-rushers available.

Mingo easily....SEC stud with amazing athleticism.....Anytime I watched LSU he stood out to me, even if he didn't put up the huge sack numbers. He was always flashing and making an impact......Rex would love this guy

Jarvis Jones is a stud on the field but the spinal condition bothers me.....the 40 time doesn't help either. Still would be happy with him

Ziggy.....I could live with but choice 3 here

I can't say any of these guys inspire me. Ansah is too raw, Mingo not physical enough, and Jones too slow (on film and at his pro day)...

I think you could draft a guy in rd. 2 and get something close...

I don't love the 9th pick/slot in this draft. If forced to stay there. I think I might go in a different/unconventional direction - maybe WR - Tavon Austin.

He's going to be dangerous/cause a lot of problems like Harvin IMO.

Angry HALE no to Molassses Jones!

Jarvis Jones? Can't outrun Nick Mangold, imagine how Gronk and Hernandez would lick their chops seeing him line up! Throw in spinal situation, and he has BUST written all over him! Productive in college, but so was Tebow! HALE NO!

I dont understand how everyone likes Mingo all of a sudden? Whats changed?

Is it just process of elimination? I thought people liked Ansah better....

Ansah, then Jones, then Mingo. Ansah is the closest thing to Adalius Thomas in a long while, and his floor is probably Brian Thomas (i.e decade long starter who destroys the run and gets occasional pressure). Obviously, that's not the goal when picking at 9, but that's one hell of a floor, and his ceiling is Justin Pierre Paul but better against the run - and he stands a pretty decent chance of reaching it. Oddly enough, he's the safest of the three, though he may have the lowest chance of reaching his ceiling.

Jones next, for me. Questionable athleticism and health, but his game film is tremendous. Terrel Suggs redux? His ceiling isn't as high as Ansah (or Mingo), and his floor is lower than both (out of the NFL for medical reasons within 5 years), but he probably has the best chance of the three of reaching his ceiling.

Mingo last. His ceiling is probably nearly as high as Ansah, and his floor isn't as low as Jones, but gun to my head I have to pick one who busts, he's my pick. He doesn't have the bulk to play the run well enough to be anything but a pass rush specialist and he looks like a Maybin clone to me. More, projecting players to add weight is a sucker's game - for every one who manages it successfully, there's one who can't gain the weight, and another two who can't gain the weight without wrecking the speed/athleticism. He does get bonus points for the name, though

People stopped looking at his stats as much and started looking at his game film.

    My order goes:

    1. Jordan
    2. Mingo
    3. Jones
    4. Ansah

I still like Moore-- I don't know why everybody has written him off and still think jones should be the pick at 9
