I haven't heard much about him from the media this spring, and that's fine. But this kid could is 22 yrs old, hit .289 with a .974 fielding pctg (3rd in nl)
His hitting is what surprised the scouts last year...tremendous upside!
He doesn't have tremendous upside. He's a solid player but tremendous upside implies that he's going to take a major leap forward as a player. Without speed or power the only way that's happening is if he turns into a .330 type hitter and I don't see that at all from him.
