@AdamSchefter: Bills and former Cardinals QB Kevin Kolb finalizing a deal tonight that will give Buffalo one more starting-caliber QB.

If Oakland passes on Geno, then he's falling to us and we're taking him.

    Book it

Teams that had better QBs than the Jets in 2012:

    Oak
    Cle
    AZ
    Buf

Oakland while probably downgrading, went younger with Matt Flynn.

AZ is probably going to get Palmer.

Cleveland, while still having Weeden, picked up Jason Campbell.

Buffalo, doing the smart thing, dumps a bad contract and their starting QB, who played better than Sanchez last year. Now they went after a very affective QB when healthy in Kolb.

And we had to have Garrard?? If we don't do something at the QB position, this team will not be watchable this season.

it seems inevitable the Geno is going to be falling to us. With Jacksonville most likely not taking a QB, the Raiders now have Flynn, the Cardinals are in the works with a trade for Palmer, the Bills just signed Kolb. Every other team before us has no need for a QB.

I don't think this by any means guarantees that Buffalo doesn't pick a qb. Kolb is pretty terrible, and a huge injury risk.

My guess, raiders or zona trade back to someone like cinci who is smitten with him. Which is good, I hope the Jets pass on him even if he falls, he's a tad bit of crap.

They already signed Tarvaris Jackson to a 2 year deal and now they've got Kolb. I think they're either taking an OL or passrusher at #8.

Looks like Geno Smith is going to fall into our laps and judging by the reports, Mornhinweg is very impressed with him.

I seriously doubt that the Bengals are ready to give up on Dalton.

i'm imagining the Bills wouldn't take Geno, and reunite Marrone with Nassib. i'm sure Nassib will be available at the beginning of the 2nd round.

Idk I have a hard time buying either Kolb or Jackson as anything but backup caliber but we will see. They are the bills after all who knows what stupid **** they may or may not do.

Of course. Or trade the pick to a different QB starved team. Pick a different QB with one of the extra picks. I am not enamored with Smith. To be honest, I hate the idea that he will be there at 9. I guess I'm dreaming of one of the 2014 QBs at the top of the draft. I still want one selected this year but Id rather trade down. In either case, they should use a later pick for a QB.

At least one of those teams will still grab him also before us

Was hoping several would take qb's though and leave more OLB's ... Unfortunately that is a lot less likely now
