What positions should be prioritized on draft day?

You cant go an entire draft and just take BPA. So with that, what are the positions most in need?

For the record, I would not be upset if they used every pick on the offensive side of the ball. Thats how bad our offense has been

Best football player on the board for every selection in every round.

    The way smart GMs draft.

You want to draft by position and needs .. hire Matt Millen

for arguments sake, what if that means taking four corners? Do we do that? dont think always taking BPA is a realistic option

I'd honestly like to know what teams over the years have gone BPA and it actually made a big difference. Quinton Coples was ranked one of the top 2 D players on the board and fell to us at 16 last year. It doesn't seem very many GM prescribe to the BPA strategy. If people think A.J. Jenkins and David Wilson where BPA picks you have to be joking me. All teams fill needs in the draft sometimes they just happen to be BPA.

Stole the words right out of my mouth - when i saw the title.

    from a needs perspective--

    #1 - Front seven. OLBs & Dlinemen

    #2 - TE

    #3 - Guards

    #4 - Safety

I think you should always take the BPA when u pick but the key should always be "when u pick".

If you have say a top 10 pick, you should never take a non premium position player just because that player is the BPA.

So taking a top guard that is going to solidify your OLine for a decade and will probably go to multiple pro-bowls is a mistake?

As opposed to picking a project OLB/DE that may never pan out?

Or a JAG QB because you NEED a QB? Only to have to draft one the following year or years?

Not talking fullbacks here. Or punter. Or long-snapper.

Warmack makes the left side of this line dominant from day 1.

After watching what Landry and Bell did for the defense by replacing Smith and Leonhard all while Revis went down, Safety should move to the top after the trenches. IMO
