Just how much more do you need to heat your hot water?

Ah, maybe you have old school steam radiators in your cabana. How was I to know.

Anyone have a built in grill on an island? Been thinking about building one after Sandy picked up my grill and moved it 15 yards.

Impressive. It would take Shonn Greene 7 attempts to get that many yards.

A friend of mine bought a Huntington through Lowe's which is a phenomenal unit, especially for the money. The three burner goes for $369,
whilst the four burner, stainless steel version, runs $399.

They are very well made and appointed. I would buy one of these.

I've been reading a lot about Huntington and think I'm going to get it. The problem with it is that it is a special order item at Lowes which means I will have to buy it sight unseen.

It's better made and outfitted than the cheaper Weber models. Also, better construction than all the other, similarly priced, grills at Lowe's and Home Depot.
    I was impressed with it.

Funny you mention that...about three days after Sandy hit, my wife's friend - the big mouth who roped us into this beach club thing - sent out an email along the lines of "YAY!!! I just spoke to the Beach Club and while there's some damage, everything will be fine by the summer. Awesome to get great news!!!!"

Considering we knew a person in common who literally had their house swept away, I wanted to punch her in the face. But granted, I've wanted to do that for some time now, this just gave me a good reason. For the record, I didn't do it. Yet.

Too bad there isn't a way you could find someone that has one in your area and you could go look.

Boroguyoroborguy, can I go to your friend's house? Did your friend have the four burner or 3?

I had a grill. It rusted out, so I got a new grill.

My new grill is cool, but I still love my old grill.

If you can't afford a good grill, save your money until you can. Or, just get yourself a hibachi.
My Weber lasted 18 years until rust finally did it in. We covered it for the first 8 years and for some inexplicable reason stopped (I think it was cocoons in the cover). Might have lasted 25 years.

Just bought a new Weber 32,000BTU 3-burner. Don't need or want side burner. $499

I can't believe how much more Weber is charging from even 8-9 years ago.

usually, I cook for three people so it would be fine....but I having a bbq at my house and will be cooking for 35 (you can't come) -- do you think I'll be alright with the 3 burner?
