    SF trades for McCoy

    http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-sh...4102--nfl.html

If any move effect the QBs in this draft this is it more then Flynn or Kolb. SF has like 6 picks in the 1st 3 rounds and needed a BU. This takes them off the QB hunt. Really think this means they do try to trade up on draft day. Also adds merit to the Browns going QB hunting.

And they recently signed Jason Campbell to be his back-up (Two-years, $3.75 million). The Browns aren't going to waste an early pick on this Quarterback class. Smart organizations won't.

Really a guy making under 2 mil and a 27 year old 2nd year QB makes you think that? I actually like Campbell but again guys like that are not a reason to pass if you like a QB. Cleveland has taken more early round QBs then any team over the last 15 years. What makes you think they stop now? Weeden looked OK but if the new Coach says he doesn't fit his O you have to find anther option.

The Browns are a smart organization? LOL this is the same team that traded up last season to take a RB with a top 5 pick and then in the same round drafted a 29 year old rookie QB. It doesn't get stupider than that....

The Browns are not going QB until late if at all. They signed Jason Campbell to compete with Weeden and they don't have a 2nd round pick.

If they are successful in trading down in the first and can pick up a 2, then maybe. But I just dont see.

Buffalo, KC, AZ, Oak, Cle, and Tenn all addressed the QB position and are now able to address other positions of need in this draft. If a QB they like falls, they can take them.

Jax did nothing but probably plans on taking one at 33.

We did nothing and better hope that Geno falls or get VERY lucky and have Nassib or Barkley fall to 39. Signing Garrard and counting on him to make it out of the mini camp healthy is being delusional.

It's delusional to think the jets are pinning all their hopes on garrard. The jets have Sanchez, Garrard, McElroy and they will have a rookie also competing. We should all hope that whatever rookie they end up getting is good enough to land the job.if not, it doesn't really matter which veteran qb they start the season with because it won't be a long term solution.

There is a lot of talk in new England about trading Mallet for a pick next year.
He will fit the vertical game of Norv's a lot better than Weeden.

They spent a first round pick on Weeden last season and contrary to media belief he wasn't that bad. They will not spend a 1st or 2nd round pick on a Quarterback. It isn't happening. Bank on it.
