    Shefter: Palmer to AZ Done

@AdamSchefter: Cardinals trade for Carson Palmer now official. Raiders get back a conditional 7th-rd pick in 2014 if Palmer starts 13 games.

Someone should repost all of Raider90210's posts on how acquiring Palmer for multiple first round picks was such a great move. Everyone knew it was incredibly stupid except him and other moronic Raiders fans.

And Fitz finally has a real QB to play with. Good for both of them. It's been a long time since either had talent opposite to them the way they do now.

And yea, I get that Palmer is 'washed up'...but with the addition of Arians and Fitz, and the subtraction of the black hole that is raiderland, I'm willing to give Palmer the benefit of the doubt.

Getting fleeced by the Bengals is pretty bad.

Ironically Hue Jackson, who made the trade for Palmer, is now coaching for Cincy.

It's a good trade for Arizona.

They give up essentially nothing for a clear upgrade at QB and are paying him a reasonable salary for 2013.

Palmer isn't a bad QB by any means, he's just not the guy that he was before the knee injury.

I think Arizona is a lock to take either Fisher or Johnson in the 1st.

No doubt they are looking at the two LTs. Massive need for them. They might be gone though, and then will have to decide if Lane Johnson is worth that high of a pick.

The actions of the Bills and the Cardinals are very telling to how the market feels about the quarterbacks coming out of this draft.

No Raiders get cardinals 6th rounder. The Cardinals get raiders 7th rounder ( Really Panthers ) in 2013 . Raiders could get a 7th in 2014. This was simple a money deal. Raiders restructure matt flynn contract give more guarantee money this year and he makes less in 2014. Raiders actually are losing 500,000 this year with these two Qb deals but in 2014 they get 12 million dollar savings.

Arizona needs to address OLine early and often!

Glad they'll be an arm in AZ to get the ball to Larry now. Just have to keep Carson upright and safe in the pocket.

The Cardinals definitely got the better of this trade and upgraded their Qb position. But thanks to this move the cardinals might have to trade again with the Raiders. If they want that LT . The Chargers and dolphins are just as desperate for that LT and can easily jump in front of them.

I think this might be the first trade during the draft with the Raiders and cardinals again doing a deal.

Or maybe they just have no idea what the market is. They haven't drafted good QB's since Kelly for Buffalo and maybe never for Cardinals.

I wonder if he'll push for his release again.

Stanton isn't that bad.. He may be as capable as Palmer at this point.
