Ravens' O-line has also taken a beating, which is what helped majorly helped "Flacco's run" to the superbowl. Don't expect to see either of them in it this time (unless of course they work draft or other miracles).

Obviously the solution is to give Ryan a bigger payday.

Clabo will be 32 this upcoming season which isn't really old for a O-lineman but from reading some posts I thought he must be a all pro.. He was a UDFA that has played well and made 1 pro bowl in 2010..

+1 - By almost all accounts, he doesn't make it to 9.

If he's there we should grab him but I think it's unlikely.

i hope he does not last.

can get a guard later in the draft.

You can get a passrusher or a receiver later in the draft also.

    What's your point?

Most mocks have him going at 10 or after, so he may be around for us at 9.

dont want a guard in the top 10. rather take a chance on an OLB or reach a little for a WR.

Curious who is saying he wont fall to us? Almost every single mock ive seen he is there. Most teams would be petrified to draft a guard in the top 8, he's a controversy even at 9.

I bet both Warmack and Cooper are there at 9.

There must be at least 15 guys who won't be there for the Jets at #9.

he'll be gone but why not get the best rated if he's still there...

Start: $13 million- Reported cap room for the Jets
Less: $4 million- Loss of cap space in a trade of Revis due to acceleration of bonuses paid
Less: $480,000- Replacement of Revis on roster by 52nd highest cap player
Less: $5.6 million- Estimated Year One Rookie Pool Allocation for Jets 7 draft picks
Add: $1.92 million- Rookie displacement of players 48-51 in the current salary cap ($480,000 x 4)
Add: $1.215 million- Removing the base salaries from the rookie pool for players who do not displace a current top 51 contract ($405,000 x 3)
Less: $960,000- For players 52 and 53 who will now count against the cap once the season begins
    Less: $816,000- Maintaining an 8 player Practice Squad for the season (8 x 17 x $6,000)
Finish: $4.279 million- This is the Jets effective cap space for the season.
nice work, then you can subtract 1mill for in season signings and 350,000 for the practice squad

Just enough left to cut Sanchez.

Wouldn't mind the Jets picking him up if the price is right. One less draft need to worry about then...

That was based on a 53 man roster with the current players and the draft picks. It also factored in a trade of Revis. The effective balance right now would be 4.2 million to sign additional players.
