There is absolutely ZERO pressure on TB. The pressure is on the Jets to dump Revis and his baggage.
Why would any team trade for jerk Revis when a team like TB at 13 can have one of: Millner, Rhodes or Trufant.
You get a much younger player (6 years), a faster player, a healthier player, a better attitude player, a lower cost player, a guy you can lock up for 4-5 years. And it costs no additional picks.
Revis had his day but he is aggravation. Or why would the Jets want to DUMP him. Can he play anywhere NEAR his previous level? And if so, where is the proof?
If Indy can get rid of Manning (with no compensation), the Jets should understand their situation is similar. Hold him and let him go his way next year.
New Orleans though they had the world beat years ago trading a lot of picks for a Ricky Williams pick. Disaster. Minny giving the farm for Hershel Walker. More stupidity.
The Jets are the team with a record of studidity and failure more than most.
    And Idzik is a ROOKIE.

I love how its a forgone conclusion that if Revis ain't dealt, he's gone.

Next year, we'll also be big players in FA with so much dead weight coming off the books. We'll be just as able to sin Revis to a FMV as most other teams who will be coveting him.

They can trade up for a Cb in this year draft. Milliner or Xavier Rhodes(won't have to trade up that far and give up as much) Than in 2014 they sign D revis IN FA. A combination Of Revis and Milliner / Rhodes at cb isn't better than Just Revis.

You get two Cbs like that than you might challenge. Just Revis and Tampa bay is still not a good match for most of the contenders in the NFC.

If the jets don't trade revis they are keeping him. Stop with FA nonsense

If Revis makes it to FA in 2014 there is zero chance he coming back to the Jets. The relationship between revis agents and Jets management is at an all time low . Both will be going their separate ways.

If you had the franchise tag still, you can say that. Not now.
What are they going to do- kidnap him . The Jets burned there bridges with D Revis and hopefully they can get the best deal possible (trade). He is gone one way or the other.

But it's TRUE. And BTW, is REVIS healthy? Let's hear it from a poster who knows for SURE. With proof.
And I'll take a great rookie over a cancer.

Half of those rookie cb's will straight up bust. The other half in all likelihood won't become a fraction of the cb Revis is.

I agree revis is a once a decade cb. But he is just a cb, if he was 1 of the many other positions qb,rb,WR,pass rusher, no way would we want to trade him. And lets not the worst franchise (raiders) in the history of the nfl as a example for what we could get in return in trade lol.. They also just gave Palmer up for a 5th rounder? All in a matter of a year, only the raiders..

Raiders have 70 million in cap space in 2014 and more than 30 million than the next nearest team .(according to Espn) Raiders want D Revis he will be a Raider. We can afford easily afford him.

For my Buddy Sg3 the Raider starting Cbs will be Tracey Porter and Mike Jenkins. Joselio Hanson the nickel CB. With Philip adams , Chimdi Chekwa , Brandian Ross and this guy
