I knew a guy from Hong Kong. He was constantly amazed at how open and spacious New York City is.
Hope you like crowds.
Hong Kong isn't bad. It's got the most impressive skyline I have ever seen on a city and the people are very nice unlike in NY where half the people in mid-town are either a) commuters who don't want to be bothered or b) drug addicts who just need money to "catch a bus to go home."

My wife is there a few times a year on business and is always sending me photos from her room of the skyline and fireworks. SHe wants me to go, but I havent heard of one thing she has encountered there that is worth the looooong flight.
Plus, I see how wiped she is from the flight and time change when she gets home. I might tag along on one of her Japan trips though.

Docile and amusing. Won't be curing cancer anytime soon, but a worthy addition to our economy class sex slaves. Bid now!
Just a stone's throw from Clapham North tube station, The Landor on a Friday night offers a cross section of London's subcutaneous degenerates, various out of work artists and professional unemployed getting laid or getting high. Sin or be sinned upon. Falling out of the Landor at closing time you're a ten minute walk from Brixton if you would like to live a little. You could also strip to the waist on Clapham Common and enjoy a little of that London sunshine that visits more often than it does up north.
