    Interesting quagmire! (love that word)

What if they include Freeman in a deal for Revis. Say the 13th, their 3rd, Conditional 3rd next year and Freeman.

Would rather take the draft pick.

Freeman is nothing to build around imo.

No Freeman... He's not that good.

We shouldn't be looking to just improve at the QB position, we should be looking for someone who can be top 10 in the league.

    This.

So sick of a thread popping up about every single player that's rumored to be on the outs.

I've said it before and I'll say it again in the wish that it happens: Package Sanchez with Revis in a trade to Tampa. Everyone will be happy.

Any chance of trading headaches ,we take Freeman & this years 1st from them & they can take Sanchise and his cap space

Why would Tampa elect to take on Sanchez's ridiculous salary?

Not to mention trading one indecisive, turnover prone QB for an even bigger indecisive, turnover prone QB.

Via the draft is the easiest way. Risky, but every bit worth it.
This is precisely why i have grown to recognize that RR was retained merely as a temporary solution until the big 2 contracts get dumped next year along with him.

In 2014 idzik will have his choice of HC, what appears to be a great cap situation, as well as picks from the Revis trade, and a top 3 pick to grab our franchise QB in the 2014 draft.

Personally, im going to watch more NCAA football than ever before this season to really feel knowledgeable and connected to our next Jets QB.

Sanchez is a shorter, worse version of Freeman. And that contract too? Lol.

I never really post on trade rumors but this one was too tempting.

I just think that Freeman is much better than Suckchez and gives us a better chance to win. Swapping them would be even better.

Its really a horrible thing to say, but winning next season is a bad thing.
I know, i know, "gfy, never hope to loose, youre no real fan, sojf", etc...

They have so much vested in Sanchez, they are going to ride him until the wheels fall off. Its sad, but in a way ive learned to respect the commitment to Mark for some reason which is unexplainable. No way he gets yanked before week 12, he gets paid too much, and while it shouldnt, that matters a lot.

Except there was no trade rumor, you made up the rumor, and a pretty unrealistic one at that.

This forum can be pretty ridiculous.

Just my opinion, Josh Freeman can easily become the next Joe Flacco. Average quarterback who can take his team all the way under the right circumstances.

I just think that you need to post less.

Wow. Joe Flacco still gets no respect. Sorry, but Josh Freeman is no where near Flacco. Some of the throws Flacco makes are just unreal especially during the playoffs. Not to mention, he came up in the clutch. Not just this year, but against the pats last year (I'm referring to the beautiful throw that was dropped in the end zone for the win).

Freeman has shown glimpses..his problem has been consistency. But you'd expect that from a young player right?
