    Day 1 Wish List

I think this would be a great haul.

    Jonathan Cooper at 9.
Tavon Austin at 13 (after Revis trade.)

    +1

I would be very happy with a Warmack/Cooper-------Austin/Eifert haul on Day 1. I take Austin over Eifert b.c Austin will also become our return man. And I think we can do some Harvin/Cobb-esque things with him on offense.

Then Tank Carradine in the 2nd round.

I would literally soil myself with joy if this happened!...would it be too greedy to ask for a cheeky trade down to 16-17 and still get either Austin or Warmack?

I can dream for another 10 days I guess

I don't mind landing Cooper at all.

But.....I'll be pissed if we take him at 9.

If we're targeting Cooper and we have the 13 from Tampa we should trade out of the 9 spot for more picks.

Sure, you always need someone to trade up with, but if Cooper is really our guy we can get him in the 16-23 range. Offer someone a generous deal (since we apparently love Cooper so much) and finding a team to trade down with is not as hard as you think.

But if we are truly talking about picks at 9 and 13 then my preference would be:

    9 Jones/Jordan

    13 Austin/Warmack/Smith/Vaccarro

If we end up with a pass rusher at 9 and Austin at 13 I would be thrilled.

Add Barrett Jones on day 2 and I would be in heaven.

    #9 Warmack

    #13 Eifert

    #39 Hopkins

Fix the goddamn offense already. Go defense in the rest of the draft for all I care.

    Nice. Close to mine.

    Warmack/Cooper
    Jones
    Ertz

Whatever, though. We'll see what happens.

I completely agree, but both prospects have their fair share of critics on this board.

Day 1 Wishlist (so that means only 1st Round). And I'm assuming we'll have TB's #13 as well, so these are guys I'd be fine with #9 or #13. Don't see a point in saying a guy is worth it at #13 but not at #9. If there were a clear defined position at the top I'd get it, but anyone out of the top 2-3 picks is pretty much interchangeable for the following 20 picks.

    - Jordan (longshot)
    - Cooper
    - Mingo
    - Warmack
    - Eifert
    - Austin
    - Vaccaro
    - Cyprien

    Day 1 Sh!t List

    - Any of the offensive tackle prospects (not that they're not any good, it just makes zero sense for us)
    - Any QB not named Geno. And I'd be lukewarm if we got him anyway.
    - Ansah -- he scares me more than other popular "scary" picks on the board. Too risky when we can't be in the first place, plus I think he's not as good of a complement to Coples/Wilk as you'd think.
    - Cordarrelle Patterson -- He has some scary potential, I mean scary, but again the risk factor scares me more. We already have one size/speed developmental project in Hill. I barely trust this team with one, let alone two.
    - Any non-rush LB.

Agreed with all of this except Mingo. Guy just screams Aaron Maybin/Robert Ayers to me.

As in terms of both being busts or as in being similar players?

Maybin, Mingo, and Ayers are all completely different types of players.
