    Right behind Garrett McIntyre.....

Let's spend the #9 pick on a guy who will eventually back up Garrett McIntyre.....

The big difference is that maybin couldn't cover or change directions at all... Maybin was an undersized 4-3 DE, mingo is 3-4 OLB

Ulysses S. Grant had relentless pursuit. And so did Custer. So that makes them the same? Please...

I was a Coples guy last year too. Mingo is my man this year. Comparisons to Maybin are ridiculous. Mingo will settle around 250-255, play OLB with a vengeance and great athleticism and put all you doubters to shame. He's got great instincts and that can't be taught. Takes the best angles, uses his hands and length well and has great burst. I trust in Mayock and in Rex to know their stuff as well. DBUST and IndianaKnat not so much.

Too bad Maybin wasnt anywhere near as explosive and fluid as Mingo

Les Miles called him the perfect read option defender
That's a good point. Honestly if the Jets end up having to pick between Warmack and Mingo they can do wrong they are both studs and will end up being successful picks.

That said, pass rushers are damn near impossible to find. And Mingo has enough strength to take down any QB in the game.

Mingo has good lower body strength, he actually can hold up decently at the point of attack. He just has so little upper body strength to bring down the carrier however.
BIG BEN would swat him off like a fly....no to weak man aaron mingo

Hey, DBUM, lay off the leprechauns. I've already instructed them to curse yo with the #51 tattooed indelibly on your back. Barkevious will be over to your house shortly to show you first hand his upper body strength.

Warmack dominated the best front seven defenders in the country on a regular basis.

Mingo is a guy who flashes here and there.

Sorry, not sold on Mingo at all.

Finnesse passrusher with limited production in college and relies strictly on his athleticism to get to the QB.

Doesn't use his hands very well to disengage and doesn't show much functional strength at all. Get your hands in his chest and he's rendered obsolete. Seemingly everytime I saw him face a highly regarded OL, he didn't sniff the backfield.

Joeckel and Matthews sh*t all over him in the A&M game.

I also find it hilarious how a lot of people knock Jarvis Jones for playing with upper echelon players on defense. LOL, as if Mingo didn't.

Jones is an awesome technician. Uses his hands better than any passrusher in the draft, is incredibly instinctive, and always seems to make the big play.

Could care less about his workout numbers. I'd take him over Mingo anyday of the week. Drafting the better athlete over the better football player is how you wind up taking Heyward-Bey over Michael Crabtree.

    #9 Chance Warmack

    #13 Jarvis Jones/Tyler Eifert

    Make it happen Izzy

the beloved jarvis jones vs bama

thats him not only getting dominated by the line, but also the TE's. Look for #29, either getting put on the ground, 5 yards out of the play, or getting run over.
