They just kinda shrugged and asked "Where is Oklahoma?"

The politically diplomatic way to say it is, "They might try to Big Nose me down on a price..."

I'm sure that any potential issues were quickly defused by his sincere, heartfelt, apology.

I think the guy that asked my friend Craig if he could feel his horns when they were both freshman at Michigan was an Okey, too.

Craig, never having heard that slur before leaving NY for school. got quite a kick out of it. We spent the next 4 years rubbing his head every time he came home or we went up for a Michigan game.

Of course some Jews are touchy.

Exactly! Surprised he didn't say "you're kidding...where's the Jew?"

I've also heard the phrase "chew him down" in terms bargaining....heard Opie and ANthony use it when Ben Stein was on...he thought he heard "Jew"....blew a gasket and hung up. lol

Meh, no worse than saying someone is wearing a gindaloon outfit. Or gindalooned their house. Or their car.

It's almost a term of endearment.

    Amirite?

My family uses that term constantly since I was a kid. I thought it a compliment to the Jewish peoples shrewd gifted tactics in negotiating.

Check out this receipt. The customer gave her name as Hyuan Lee but the cashier wrote Ching Chong Lee.

    I raffed.

You didnt move to the hills of Vermont, you were chased. By minorities.

Is the lib-act in the Political forum some sort of survivors guilt?

Who the f**k says "gindaloon", anyway? The Irish? No joke, anybody ever calls me that to my face and, even at 56 years-old, I'll smash in their teeth.

BTW, is "half a fag" derogatory? Or has it now attained the level of "kitschy" vernacular?

The aroma of collard greens and chitterlings wafting through your neighborhood must be enticing.

    You seem surprised by this.

Were you expecting them to hang Zebra skins and herd goats on the lawn?

I use gindaloon weekly on an Italian friend of mine who returns the favor with a breathtaking array of Irish slurs, half of which are true.

    Its all about context.
