I may have missed this, but no one's stated the obvious - that opening against Revis is the best possible scenario (assuming the trade to the Bucs happens). He'll be at his rustiest - playing in his first full-speed action since the injury - and potentially not 100% healthy. Thanks, NFL!
The real "obvious" here is that the Revis trade doesn't happen. He charges out of the Jets tunnel to the roar of the crowd and the bucs get their butt kicked. Woody is a hero, and all is well in fanland.
Remember, the NFL is incorporated as an "ENTERTAINMENT" corporation. This is getting more like wrestling every minute.
