Why does Rex care where Baltimore opens?

@BrianCoz: I would love to see a discussion between Rex Ryan and Buck Showalter.

@KimJonesSports: Rex not happy Ravens open on road bc of O's sked: "Who really cares? You have 81 of those things. ...The world champs should open at home."

@BrianCoz: Rex much more opinionated about Ravens schedule than the Jets.
In Rex's mind he still thinks he is somehow responsible for the success the Ravens are having today, thus the need to comment on it. His current owner put a gag order on him about the Jets, so I guess the only thing left for him to talk about is the Ravens. For some reason he thinks people care what he says about the Orioles.

@DWAZ73: Pressure? If most think #Jets will win 4 games & Rex somehow coaches them to 7, it's a win.If they finish with 4, it was expected anyway.

    +1.

I always say it... if he resigned/got fired and we get a new QB, no matter what happens, the same people will be asking for another new coach and new QB. Every 3-4 years.

You nailed it. That's exactly why no one should ever pay attention to the nerds. It's obvious Rex has been screwing their old ladies by the hatred they have for him..

The average lifespan of an NFL head coach is 3 years.

So the reason people start screaming for the heads of their bad head coaches is because it only takes 3 seasons to see they suck.

There's not a single NYJ head coach in the last 35 years that was good at his job except Parcells, even Carroll is an unknown, the rest were garbage and never did anything here or anywhere else.

We aren't quick-triggered and resentful; you guys are just slow.

The average tenure with a single team is 3.25, not a lifespan and about 66% of coaches underperform that benchmark. So he's right about Rex outperforming, and just stating his opinion after that.

@ConorTOrr: RT @EddieInTheYard: Buck said Rex Ryan should be more concerned w/ playing #Ravens this yr. "I would stay in my supposed area of expertise."

@danconnollysun: Buck on Rex Ryan: "Iíd be a little more concerned about Nov. 24 when the Jets come here and try to figure out a way to beat the Ravens."

@danconnollysun: More Showalter on Rex Ryan: "I try to stay out of things I donít know about. ... I would stay in what is my area of supposed expertise."
