The Jets really need an impact player from this draft, so i can't see trading both.

    Jordan
    Ansah
    Star
    Cooper
    Warmack
Gotta get 1. If it's me i take cooper.

I'm not saying i'm 100% behind this, but there could be a lot of excitement and hope if a Geno/Austin combo is drafted at 9/13, along with Ertz at 39 and best guard available in rd. 3, and trading the five for Ivory.

Yeah, but we would have no defense.

PS- Ron Swanson is the best character on TV

Cooper and trade down. The Jets need picks in the late first and second, if they can get them. I like Mingo but I can live with the trade down, which could net the Jets some really good wood... Moore, Ertz, Hopkins... that would be a haul.

I'm feeling this bigtime right now man. If i can get Cooper to fill the LG spot and trade the 13th pick to the Niners for those 2 picks in the 2nd, i am on my way to fixing this team

Cooper and the 31st and 39th picks added to the team this year. Trade away the 34th for a 1 next yr and maybe Hello Teddy.

The Revis trade if used wisely could be the trade that keeps giving.

We actually have some trade down leverage. Hope we can use it. I think we're both agreed that the meat of this draft is in the 2nd and 3rd rounds. If the Jets can parlay more picks in that area, we will build a solid team.

No.9: Ezekial Ansah or Jarvis Jones.

No.13: Tavon Auston, DeAndre Hopkins or Tyler Eifert.

13 is far, far too high for Hopkins.

Why? Because some draft geek told you so? He's the most polished WR in the draft and will go to St. Louis at 16 if Austin is off the board. Mark it down.

do you argue just to argue...I don't think no one here or that likes football in general ..thinks that 2 unproven rookies would be better than revis...but this is a $$ thing and cap thing...pretty sure if we had had qb and cap space we would tried to keep him

The Jets NEED to take the best pass rusher available with one of those picks. Even if it means Mingo (who some people think is poor value).

The other one either has to go for a guard or DT.

The choice and order will be a matter of assessing proper value and how the board shakes out.

If Jordan, or Ansah are not left, then I trade down from 9, and take Mingo at 13. If we use the 9th, then I'll trade down from 13. Take Efiert, or Cooper with the later 1st, and take EJ with the additional 2nd. If he's gone I'd trade down again, and grab Dysert, or Wilson in the 4th.

Well if you want Cooper, or Warmack then trading down is the only rational way to do it. If there are two guards drafted in the top 20 then there will be two GMs fired next year.

It's not whether we had the cap space, but if we want to waste the cap space on a CB, just so we can brag about having the best CB. It's actually costing us cap space this year, but we will be a much more efficiently run team now, and in the future with grown ups in charge.

We have to draft the 2 best offensive players on the board. Either way were not getting any think worth was Revis was.

    Mingo at 9 isn't bad.

Could the Jets trade down from 13 and pick up Cooper or another high quality guard later in the first or 2nd picking some extra picks along the way... Jets need as many picks as they can get while still being well placed to nab quality players.
