+1, this would instantly turn our offense around, I know everyone is not very high on geno but all qb's are a crapshoot so why not take a chance on one now. Our d will be too good to let us get teddy next year or manziel so why not try our luck with the best qb in this draft and the most explosive player ive seen in a long long time.

    Cooper & Chance

I don't believe we stand pat at 9 & 13. I have a feeling Idzik wants to turn them into more picks. I can see potential deals with either the Vikings (23 & 25) or the Falcons (30). According to various reports, both teams have shown interest in moving up.

Everyone is trying to trade down this season. Unless Idzik gets lucky I don't see us trading down and honestly the players we need (Millner/Mingo/Warmack) are available in the area we're picking in rd 1 so why give up a good position?

I agree with you. However, if a player is available at either 9 or 13 that another team covets, I would listen, you never know what deal you can get. We have multiple needs, perhaps it may be worth our while to accumulate additional picks.

I'd go crazy drafting two guards at 9 and 13. It's not like Brick and Mangold at 4 and 29..

It feels like if we keep both picks, one of them will 99% be Jonathan Cooper or Chance Warmack, the other one is more of a mystery right now.

No. I'd be much happier with Hopkins in the second.

Warmack would be a fine pick but in the alternative the Jets could sign Clabo or Winston and move Howard to Right Guard.

Sign me up for one of the two guards everyone's talking about and then whoever they think the best Olb available is. IMO if you have a chance to help solidify your line for the next decade, you take it. In terms of a Olb, we're still looking for that guy who can get in the backfield in any situation. We haven't had a pass rusher that offenses have had to worry about in almost a decade. Maybe now we finally get him. One can hope.

Throw Cooper's name in the mix if not Chance.

No idea where he's going to go, I've seen him as high as 2 and as low as mid teens. But I think Ziggy Ansah might be a stud.

    Geno Smith
