I'd like them to either go both defensive players or both offensive players...instead of hedging bets you go all-in on either restoring the defense to being truly elite or fixing the broken offense in one swoop.
Personally I don't see us fixing the offense until we get a QB, and I doubt they look at Nassib/Glennon/Manuel with either the 9 or 13. Maybe go for one of them at 39 if they're available, and pick Warmack and Eifert (or Austin/Patterson) in the first to help them out.
I'd slightly prefer if we really go nuts on pass rushers by taking whichever 2 of the top 4 are still around when we pick. Mingo+Jones, or Ansah+Jones in addition to Coples and Wilkerson is going to be difficult for any pass defense to deal with, and we're going to need an elite pass rush now that we don't have Revis Island. I'd also love Star Lotuleilei but I doubt he's still there at 9.
What I wouldn't like is if we go for Mingo+a WR. Mingo seems like he's got too much bust potential and wideouts are always risky, especially when they'll be coming into an offense thats in tatters with no QB. Unfortunately I think this is a very likely scenario if we take Mingo at 9 and then Warmack gets taken before 13.
I would also HATE us taking Milliner. It's not a true need position and we have a TON of actual needs. I'd prefer Vaccaro or even reaching on a QB to taking a CB
