Yes, I quite like the Jets' chances going forward. It's good to be under the radar for once. I think that competent playcalling (Morny) and sensible drafting can turn the ship around quick smart.

I'm not particularly interested in going QB in first round, but Barkley and Manuel are my favorites at the top of the QB class.

My two picks at 9 and 13

    Mingo and Austin

But my list of favorites, in no particular order

    Ansah
    Mingo
    Warmack
    Austin
    Jordan
    Patterson
    Millnier
    Trufant
    Barkley
    Eifert

    What about Cooper?

I agree with OLB and OL. Take the pass rusher at 9 and hopefully either Cooper or Warmack are available at 13. Gotta have a pass rush and running game to be competitive if you don't have a franchise QB.

I agree completely as long as it's not Mingo.

    Say no to MINGO!!!!!!

Small, pushed around by blockers in college??? He'll be dust in the NFL.

I'm good with Warmack at 9

    Austin at 13

    If neither are there...

    or

    Cooper at 9

    Vaccaro at 13

Nobody gets off blocks better than Jarvis Jones, in terms of the pass rushers in this draft.

If you want a pass rusher, you draft Jones. Otherwise, get a guard - which is 99% the case that will happen, and then ????

I have a question for u. How come he can't do this against an OT against the run ? He would be the 1st player taken in this draft if he could.

The only other pas rusher that does is Ansah, and his upside is through the roof. Ansah and Cooper would be my first two picks

    9 - Warmack or Cooper
13- J Jones ( could be the steal of the Draft)

Warmack, Cooper, Jones, Austin, Eifert (if we trade back a few spots).

I think OL and best available pass rusher, using the early 2nd rounder to go DB

  15. #155

    Austin and Eifert

About time we added some skill players to the offense instead of the "annual defensive lineman" Wilkerson and Couples are coming into their own. Friday should be interesting and Idzik will earn his pay on Saturday.

Long suffering Jets fan here. Here's me 2 cents - I think the Jets are going to keep both picks and draft the best available edge pass rusher at # 9 and whoever they think their franchise QB could be at # 13. Many folks think that this QB class is weak, and it might very well prove to be the case, but I think the Jets have to roll the dice and grab whoever they think can be a very productive NFL QB with one of their two 1st round picks. Hoping for a crappy record in 2013 (which is certainly possible) and waiting to draft your franchise QB in 2014 is a gamble and one not worth taking IMO. As far as the rest of the draft goes, I'd take a guard in the 2nd round and go WR in the 3rd. The offense is completely void of playmakers and needs to be replenshised with talent. This draft has a lot of meat in the middle rounds and thr Jets can inject some decent talent back into their offense with a smart draft.
