None. Unless you are a QB you did not single handedly win a game for your team. Even for QBs it is hard to argue. This isn't basketball. Too many guys on the team and no one who is on the field for every snap.

You mean the interception that Romo threw straight to him.
If you remember, the Jet's defense/Revis baited Romo all night for that interception. They switched from man to an under-zone on that play so Revis was not where Romo thought he would be. That's called football strategy.

Here's what I can think of off the top of my head. There may be more:

    - Dallas Opening Season Game (big interception put us in position for winning drive)

    - Miami Mon/Sun Night Game: 100 yard interception return turned the game around

    - San Diego Playoff Game (acrobatic interception turned game around)

    - New England Home Game (Rex's first season): virtually shut down Randy Moss when Brady-Moss was ultra hot combo (also had a key interception on a go route)
I think a better way to phrase the question is, how many games can you recall where Revis' play was a major catalyst for the win. If you look at it that way, I think the above is the list.

I'd maybe add SD at home in '11, when his INT stopped a Charger drive deep in Jets territory and his return changed field position. Maybe the Bengals playoff game in '09, with that sick INT of Palmer deep in Jets territory that also kept points off the board.

Bottom line, you're looking at a game or two a year. Another reason why you'd love to have him, but not at the price when considering all of the other factors.

Did the Jets have the #2 Pass Defense in the NFL in 2012, with Revis missing 13 games?

BTW, Revis is talking about wearing #24 for Tampa Bay on NFL Network. Mark Barron currently wears it, and Revis didn't say he didn't want the number, and that it would be all on Mark [Barron].

The Mevis Mob says thats because it was so easy to run on the Jets no one bothered to pass much..

Revis devised that strategy? Who was in a zone?

Revis was on the sideline dressed as a hotdog vender selling a dog to Sanchez then ran on the field and intercepted the pass.. BTW he kept the money for the hotdog as well..

Obviously this is impossible to quantify. But I'd also like to add the Indy playoff game in 2010 to the list of games where his presence may have been the difference between a win and a loss. Without him shutting down Reggie Wayne all night that is a MUCH different game.

Revis was a fantastic player for us, one of the best to ever put on a Jets jersey.

that being said, it was relatively easy for teams to game-plan around him. yeah, Revis would shut down the #1 WR, but if the other team had other capable targets they would just pick apart the softer areas of our defense.

as good as he was, Revis didn't stop Leonhard and Smith from getting routinely torched by TE's. as good as he was, Revis didn't help our slow pass-rushers get to the QB any faster.

he was a great player and i'm sad to see him go. but it was the right move to make and, given the circumstances, coming away with a #1 and #3 is not bad at all.

If he didn't drop a sure interception in the first half of the AFC Championship game vs Pittsburgh, we may have gone to the SuperBowl.

    Works both ways...
