Thread: Gil Bryant's Jets draft trade rumor

Gil Brandt's Jets draft trade rumor

He is claiming the Jets will trade the 9th pick (and other picks) with the Raiders for the #3 pick to draft Dee Milner at 3 and then draft Mingo at 13. Take it for what it is worth, but I just heard him him on Sirius NFL radio.

If the Jets trade up in this draft, they are complete morons. I don't believe it.

I don't think the Jets would pass on Milliner if he's there at 9, but I also would be surprised if they trade up for him.

I don't want them giving up any picks. We need more, not less.

We're finished trading up we only trade down and acquire MORE pick with the new regime.

I think nobody at the nursing home told Gil.that Mike Tannenbaum was fired at the end of last season.

    Poor old feller

That would be something... Basically trading HOF cb - revis + picks (draft value) for an inferior cb in Milner?

Might stop being a jets fan for awhile if that happens...

    LOL

Not buying this for a second

If it happened, I'd call for Idzik and Rex's heads immediately.

not for nothing but Revis at 16mil might be equal value to Milner + picks

that being said, no way we take a corner that early...not with Wilson and Cro on the roster.

Really? With no prior history for this "regime" and you or anyone can make such a statement?
