Im gonna post something. Ill do it on my Iphone this weekend.

I was gonna do "Donna Lee" on my Fender but rusty is a nice way to describe my bass chops but Ill probably just do a Paul Simon tune or perhaps "Norwegian Wood" since YOU SIR encouraged me to learn it.

Then again, perhaps Ill do Oleo or Billies Bounce on the bass.

That would be sick. Do it.

You don't have to do it in a weekend; set up a little video booth you can use when the time is right. Make the environment happen; once I did that...You can see that I'm puking videos all over the innerwebs right now.

Great stuff Matt. Love the Jazz bass. Good tone; your playing reminds me of the Benson version; just bass and guitar.

Working on a 3rd CD...recording our bass players parts separately on a different day than the rest of the band...A result of ego and a near fist fight recently...

Very nice, I quite enjoy your playing WCO. I'm a fan.

Sadly, I realized I can't post my own, for reasons I prefer not to divuldge, not that it is that great anyway. If I can figure one small thing out, I may one day still post it. Damn interwebs and their tubes.

    Hey - Robert Arctor

Take your 5 favorite tunes. Break them down to:

    Intro
    Verse
    Chorus
    pre-solo (4 bars)
solo (2X through verse chorus or whatever form)
    Big Emotional verse/chorus
    outro

Now with 5 tunes, that's a bit of work. Good news is that the progressions will be similar; or related, and you will become an expert on these 5 tunes. In a relatively short time, you will be able to break down other songs you love quickly with great comprehension. Keep a journal or music notebook. MEMORIZE.

Anyway (similar to the American Idol shows I watched 10 years ago) prep your video by playing your Expert songs 10X through; paying attention to FEEL, and not Technique. You will NEVER be perfect on the technique, but you can still CARRY THE SONG LIKE A BOSS.

    Good luck; America Needs You.

Nice...though my tendancy to develop irrational hatred towards people for absolutely no reason at all would kick in as soon as I saw the guy in the tie.

I would be plotting ways to make him pay..for what...I have no idea.
