Warmack and Mingo are the only players worth taking at 9 and 13

The only players I use the #9 and #13 picks on are Warmack and Mingo.

I don't think Milliner is worth a top 15 pick. He looks like another Kyle Wilson to me. Nassib won't fit in Mornhinweg's west coast offense, nor will Geno Smith. Cordarrelle Patterson won't fit on a roster that already has Holmes, Hill, Kerley, and hopefully Braylon Edwards. Austin is another Kerley, don't need him.

Otherwise, if Warmack and Mingo can't be had, Idzik should trade down into the mid 20s. The draft value chart says you can get a late 1st AND a 2nd for the 13th overall pick, so find a team picking late 1st looking to move up and trade down, scooping their 2nd rounder as well.

In the 2nd round, I think if Mike Glennon is there you gotta take a shot with him.

Definitely don't agree with you about Milliner and Kyle Wilson. Dee looks like he will be a #1 CB in this league on tape. He is actually very good at blanketing receivers and I see him as a top 10 prospect.

Nassib is actually perfect for the WCO because he can make quick short throws with anticipation. However, I think the Jets are putting up a smokescreen so the Bills overdraft.

I think Mike Glennon is good too actually but it's hard to evaluate the QBs coming out of college. If Jets take him in 2nd round then they obviously feel he will be a starter in 2014 and beyond (I'd imagine).

Honestly, I'd try to trade down that #9 pick and grab Warmack/Cooper with #13. It's easier said than done but this solidifies our line and gives us extra picks. I think Mingo is sort of a grooming project and I'd rather go with Jarvis Jones at this point from what I've watched on tape.

2 Beasts from Bama and LSU......Sign me up

I'm not high on the idea of taking a guard so high, but I'll admit that Warmack will almost definitely be a damn good player right out of the gate, so its cool

    Mingo, goes without saying.....Stud passrusher

Man screw bust potential.....Go for boom potential

If your coach and FO feel that Mingo is the goods, go for it.....We need difference makers, not decent players

I think one of the guards will be there at #13, so you'd have to go with Mingo at #9 and take the guard that is still there at #13. Mingo and Warmack would be a great first round.

Based on what, exactly? And if you do, you must be equally concerned about Jordan and Ansah. Their production is suspect or non-existent. We can only speculate, but I'll go on record again that I think Mingo will be a terror in the NFL as a pass rusher.

I like Warmack, but much prefer Cooper. Unfortunately hearing Lions are loving him and might take him at 5.

As does any pass rusher. OLB/DE and WR are the two most difficult positions to evaluate by far.

I think Warmack falls to us and ends up playing LG for us the next 10 years.

The 230 some pound weakling that won't bench press for anyone is not going to be a terror for anyone!!! He can't stop the run he will turn into a 3rd down "specialist" just like his brother Aaron was!!

    Say no to barkevious maybin!!!!!

LOL at this. I read the op, and I was like this dude just sees dreads on both of them and is like oh they're the same. The two are nowhere in close to comparisons. SMH at the internet

Warmack at 9 is no good. Mingo makes more sense at 9 then take Cooper at 13 if he's still around or trade down to the bottom of the round and take DJ Fluker put him at RG while he acclimates to the pros with the medium/long term view to putting him in at RT and kicking Howard into G if needs be. With the extra pick Jets can get another decent player in the 2nd round or potentially more in the later rounds etc with the trade down for Fluker.

you'd be wrong there. I never even noticed Milliner's dreads. I am basing that opinion on watching both of them play. Milliner is just like Wilson when he plays the deep ball. He struggles to turn his head and play the ball. He is of similar physical stature too. He can hit, but lacks the size to match up with most #1 NFL WRs. He'll never be as good as Cromartie.
