Me too SBIII Mayock is the man!!!

I consider him the Oracle of Delphi.
You realise that many books wont post draft odds until Mayock speaks.

I remember when he called it when we drafted our spectacular edge rusher Vernon G “Very high bust potential”……….. a bust indeed

Anyone got a link to a stream of it, for those of us in need?

» New York Jets fans would be ecstatic if this mock came true. They came away with pass rusher Dion Jordan at No. 9 and tight end Tyler Eifert at No. 13. That looks almost as delicious as when the Jets landed Shaun Ellis and John Abraham in the first round.

If we landed Jordan and Eifert, consider me excited.

And Chance Warmack is still around! Probably gone at 11 or 12 though

I would really like this pick but I agree he does not make it to 9

Jordan and Eifert. Can't see a single Jet fan being upset with this result. But we will never get this lucky.

Posted this in another thread, but if Joeckel/Fisher go 1/2, there is a few scenarios that are not that far fetched that could have Jordan drop to 9.

I'll understand if they draft eifert but if it falls that way I'm taking Jordan and then mingo. We can worry about offense the rest of the draft. Give me Robert woods in the 2nd.

Ahhh..love the Jordan pick, and wouldn't hate the Eifert pick...but if available I'd rather trade back than take Eifert. Unfortunately most of the highly rated OL beef was already gone by 13...by Star was still on the board and if the two BPA when the Jets are selecting are on the D, I say so be it.

I also believe you build a team from the LOS out..but's JMO.

Mayock made it work with only 1 QB going in the top 8. Its possible that Geno AND Nassib go in top 8, in which case the chances go up.

But I would still bet that Jordan is off the board before the Jets pick

Being quite the Jets Draft historian, I am REALLY skeptical of drafting a TE in the first round at #13.

Can someone please explain to me what makes Eifert (6'5" 250 lbs) so special?

The benchmark nowadays is Gronk - 6'6" 265 lbs. or Jimmy Graham - 6'7" 265

BOTH those studs were taken in round 2 and 3, respectively.

What justifies Eifert as a top 15 pick?
