He might've let it slip, but nothing's confirmed. I'd say a deal gets announced on Saturday.

Hopefully it happened and hopefully it was for a 5th (although, if we gave up a 4th, I still wouldn't care too much).

Guessing that McKnight would be the odd man out, Ivory and Goodson are locks, and then Powell probably. McKnight should get a chance to compete in camp though

If we draft Austin, McKnight should start packing his bags for sure

McKnight = safety depth, special teams.

This roster can hardly afford to just start cutting guys... LOL wtf are you thinking?

Another north/south runner. I was hoping we get another pass catcher out of the backfield in the draft with that 5th rd pick like Barner.

Rounds 4-7 take place on Saturday. There's no absolute urgency to get a deal done until then.

If true I am glad on this one. Next years draft is stacked in better RB talent I'll take one of them in the 1st.

That is true but what if NO wants that pick as bait to trade up in the 1st or 2nd rounds?

would make no sense to get rid of McKnight...the man is too talented and will have a spot.

They have many holes to fill, so I doubt that. But we shall find out soon enough.

One of the contributing factors to last season's disfunctional offense was the inability of our backs in picking up the blocks on guys comming free. I expect improvement here and bet this was considered in the Goodson and now possibly Ivory pickups.

Not in my eyes. I dunno, I got to give Mcknight the edge not only as a RB, but when you add his KR to the mix, he seems more valuable than Powell to me.
