Bingo. You forgot Johnny Mitchell, Anthony Becht and Doug Jolley. TE is such a low upside position, you just can't go there in the first round unless you are the Patriots, with no real needs. It is a luxury position, and the Jets can't afford that. Thank you, Idzik.

A great TE is akin to a #1 WR in today's NFL. But that is actually part of the point....Rex has us in the '80s.
Boom, right there should have been our #9 and #13 there.

Jarvis Jones would have been a better choice IMO. Desperate for pass rush help.

I've been saying this for MONTHS.

That's why the Jets took defensive players. Not because Rex Ryan is in charge. You guys just jump without thinking.

And don't give me the guards. You draft guards in the later rounds.
You are correct, the Jets did the right thing tonight!

Plus OL is not a major need IMO. They have Austin Howard who was good last year, they have Willie Colon. All they need to do is draft somebody later.

I am 99% sure that they will go offensive in the second round.

If they don't then I will be upset.
Everyone knew Kyle Brady sucked except for the Jets and Keller was a Combine hero that Tanny fell in love with.

Eifert has tape. Great hands. Can block. And played well against top competition.

YEah thats because Sanchez has such great guys to throw to and tight ends are not important in the modern game. Just unbelievable.

There was talk that Atlanta was coveting Richardson and might be trading up to 13 for him - guess not.

    +1,000,000

Austin was gone and most likely the Jets thought Warmack would fall to 13. I liked Warmack but Guards are easy to find sh*t we could probably sign Brandon Moore to a one year deal tonight.

The Colon signing was a steal, too many are overlooking this pick-up.

It's funny, Colon's risks are his injury history, the same fans that boo hoo at Colon, are the same ones complaining we didn't draft Jarvis Jones.

You're missing the point. We don't need OUTSTANDING offensive players. We just need some good offensive players. In fact, we need lots of them and we could have gotten some.
