    It's a B.

They addressed needs, got highly graded players who are not likely to bust. This draft doesn't offer much, they could have done things a little different that would look good to the mock drafters, but ultimately they got guys that will make a difference.

Two apparently talented players., at positions I don't see as needs.

Would have been better used drafting O (Warmack and Eifert) or trading down a la the Pats, gaining 3 (THREE!) mid-round picks.

If both Milliner and Richardson become everydown starters and we can aquire somethng to help the O in 2 thru 5, maybe a B.

    F. Worse case scenario. And no one here wanted these players before we drafted them, just sayin

    I give it a B/B-.

Face it, offense was not the strength of this draft. The Jets knew this and after the pass rushers and Austin were taken the Jets had go with BPA.

That's the truth. It has little to do with Rex Ryan. It has to do with the board and how it was laid out.

I expect them to go offense tomorrow in the 2nd and 3rd round.

B - both players the Jets selected were in the top 15 in almost all the mock drafts I looked at. The Jets didn't pull any fantastic moves so no "A" they seemed to take the best they had on their board. Nothing flashy.

B+ Jets need players and lets face it they're not going to the Super Bowl this year no matter what 2 players they took. Milliner has the upside to be great which I do not believe Wilson can be. Richardson plugs the middle of the D which is an absolute necessity.

    Just because.

I still can't figure out what the **** just happened. We had the #9 and #13 picks, how do we **** that up? This first round talent just blows.

Well then why haven't we done anything prior to the draft? These were not needs. We still need 3 starters on the OL. LBS are still a mess. Have no safeties.

But we now have a nickel corner and a rotational D Lineman. Thrilled.

    I wanted Milliner/Mingo

    Obviously couldn't get Mingo

Didn't see Richardson coming at all, but he's a damn good player

Hey they went BPA in 2 premium positions.....I like it

The offensive value wasn't there, and the draft is far from over

Guess they held true to their board since CB was not a need

I am good with Richardson considering options at 13

Saints had the best value/need pick of the draft so far

    Dawan Landry?
    Willie Colon?
    Antwan Barnes?

Do these names mean anything to you?

How is shutdown CB not a need? Kyle Wilson and Cromartie are solid but we have nothing of any value after them........Adding Milliner will do wonders for us in the long run

Yes could have kept Revis......It wasn't happening, and Milliner was easily the best player available

Well said and a smart fan.

I gave the Richardson pick an A and milliner pick a C....maybe we go Warfield and Stedman Bailey tomorrow.

I understand they took the best players on their board which i am in favor of in the 1st round. I still not sure how we are going to make the best use of coples, wilkerson and richardson though. Others on here are pretty confident that rex will find a way. I'm not so sure.

I love how our first round picks addressed the needs of the worst offense in the NFL.

Hey SAR I told you the Jets would take another DLineman in the first round for the 17th straight draft.

They have a baseball plan, win games 7-3 and 3-0

The only thing we know for sure is that we need a new GM, this guy is an idiot. We are back to square one.
