Mock the 2nd round until #39

    For ease of speculation.

2nd round order - with 1st round pick:

    #33 Jaguars (Joeckel OT)
    #34 49ers (Reid S)
    #35 Eagles (Johnson OT)
    #36 Lions (Ansah DE)
    #37 Bengals (Eifert TE)
    #38 Cardinals (Cooper G)
    #39 - J E T S

I think it's quite possible there's a mini-run on the QBs right here with the Jags, Eagles and Cardinals all in a position to grab one. I also would not be surprised if another team tried to jump into the 49ers hole for the same purpose.

Was running the same thought process in the Draft Forum. One thing that jumps out, as I said there... none of these teams ahead of us is likely to go WR. I'd love to see Keenan Allen as the pick for us if that happens.

I was thinking Ertz or Woods since they add more speed, which is a supposed point of emphasis for the Jets. But defense can't be out of the question with Moore and Cyprien possibly sitting there at 39.

But watch take the CB from Boise State. . .

I don't think Lacy will be the next RB taken.

who the hell knows... the way things have gone thus far - a trade or two certainly seems likely with some of ILBs on tap.

    Carradine!!

Pretty good job But I would substitute LT Terron Armstead for the Cardinals. They have to find a LT to protect C Palmer blind side.

That's what Mehta is reporting, possibly through a trade down.

    #34 49ers (Reid S) - Zach Ertz
#35 Eagles (Johnson OT) - Geno Smith (if he's there, this is a lock) or Keenan Allen (they need this type of WR)

#37 Bengals (Eifert TE) - Jon Cyprien
    #38 Cardinals (Cooper G) - Terron Armstead

Do you think since Marone didn't pick Nassib that sends up a red flag?

I'd be very happy with Allen - I think whoever gets him will be getting a player who is good for a very long time. Ertz would be an option too, but only if Allen and possibly Woods are gone ... not sure Ertz is as good a TE as the other guys are WR's.

If we go D, I'd be OK with Cyprien (I think safety is a need - all the CB's in the world won't help overall if our safeties suck).
