The two QBs that were bandied about in the first round potentially are still on the board. While it might not be my first choice, if Nassib or Geno fall to the Jets at #39, I can't really complain.

I can only assume that if the Jets draft either one of them, they have a lot of faith in their ability.

    Hahaha.. you should do standup...

    fwiw.
well then he was right, in part, and wrong, in part. They did have Milliner rated higher than I would have figured.

    Barkley/SMith/Nassib/Glennon: DO NOT WANT

Give me Wilson, Bray, Scott, Dysert in the later rounds. PLEASE!

and that's why it's better to draft BAP in the first round. the jets took two good defensive players, for a unit that lost a bunch of guys. now in rounds 2 and 3 they can look at offense, where the value is.

i think a lot of the doom and gloomers here now will feel better about this draft after we see who they take tonight. there's a lot of wrs left who can contribute, some TEs and rbs can be had tomorrow too.

FYI...Gil's writeups from his Final Top 100

    6) Dee Milliner, CB, Alabama
Milliner is a very good blitzer; he reminds me of Pittsburgh Steelers CB Ike Taylor when he comes off the corner. He's also very instinctive. There are guys who can cover but aren't instinctive; for example, they don't time their jumps right, giving their man room to make a play. You don't see Milliner letting that kind of thing happen.

    15) Sheldon Richardson, DT, Missouri
One thing I really like about Richardson: When I asked him why he went to junior college, he told me it was because he didn't pay enough attention to academics in high school, and he said he'd learned his lesson. It stands out when a guy owns up to something like that. He's also strong, long-armed, athletic and quick, and he plays hard.

I'd be alright with Geno or Nassib in the 2nd round. We could give them a shot and wouldn't be prevented from taking another QB next year if we're in the position to get a Bridgewater, Manziel, etc.

Please Take Glennon over Geno pick 9 of second rd

I am hearing major noise we are taking Geno, but this is a bad move.Take Glennon and let him develop behind Garrard for a year or 2 and then take over.He has untapped potential...monster arm/height...and poise when throwing ints,he comes back. Please lord.

Unfortunately, I disagree and that's why I really don't want a QB now. No way does Izdik give up on a 2nd round QB after one year, especially since that 2nd round QB will barely play as a rookie.

If Qb, I would go Geno over Nassib it doesn't mean they are the man , I would like to get a TE, Marty needs a TE.

Please no Geno Smith at any pick. The questions about his character sound warranted. He took his toys pouting and went home yesterday (ie leaving New York) until he was 'warned' that he ought to stick around lest his character be questioned, so he did a U-turn and is heading back to Radio City tonight. Wa wa I don't think I want a baby like that at QB.

I would hate a Nassib selection over Smith or Barkely

Somebody give Snell41 a heads up, I want to make sure he has this recorded...
