Realistically, for who or what could the Jets trade Sanchez?

Can they get any sort of reasonable compensation for him (picks or players) at this stage of his career? Or will we simply be forced to cut him or ride out his contract until next season?

Cut or Contract. That's it. There's no other option.

If he has pictures of Eva, maybe a conditional 2018 7th.

The 3rd best looking cheerleader on the Giants.

Easily get an 8th or 9th rounder.

If Matt Millan was still the GM you could get a WR off the Lions with an equally awful contract.

We cannot trade or cut him.

We will keep him for one more year, at which point we can dump him.

He might get picked up after we cut him but nobody is going to take his contract or give up anything for him.

Sanchez sucks, but who else do we have? He's the best of the worst. This team is f()cked for at least two more seasons. Two more season at the minimum. But we added two more first rounders to a D that can't stop the run.

You cant have Geno and Sanchez on the team. It is not good for either guy or the rest of the players who have a relationship with sanchez. If we draft geno tonight, mark is gone.

    Please...

IF the NYJ wanted to trade him AND IF someone was actually offering something of value, the Jets could easily make it happen by re-doing his deal AGAIN, and paying part or all of his salary to him as a bonus to make the cost to the team trading for him acceptable.

It's been done many times before when trading a player with a bad contract.

This does of course affect the cap, and we would need room to do it, but it can be done.

nothing. He's a liability, not an asset.
