or accuracy. at some point you can't blame tebow or the coaching staff or the wrs if you keep missing 10 yard outs.

Totally agree with this, but he's got to go. They have to eat the cap hit and allow Geno to grow into a starting role in the most positive environment possible. Sanchez remaining on the roster will be terrible distraction.

Imagine we have no Sanchez on our roster. Will you sign him for any guaranteed money, even without all the baggage? Will any team do that?
Cutting him is an easy decision.

There was such a buzz and excitement in the stadium when McElroy came in . It's so obvious the fans know (mark gives us the best chance to win ) is done. Can you imagine the excitement in the stadium waiting for Geno . They have to move on , its over no more tacos for you!

Unfortunately, Sanchez is the media face of this team's ineptitude. Whether that is right or wrong can be debated. Nonetheless, there are multiple threads on this blog railing against the media treatment of the Jets. Much of it can be eliminated with management biting the bullet and cutting Sanchez. His roster spot needs to be filled with a player of promise. He's done in New York!

And then he started the SD game and that buzz was quickly turned into a buzzkill. It will take 1 or two successive bad games from Geno and the suck for Bridgewater and Johnny football crap will rear its ugly head. Jet fans love scapegoats too bad most are looking in the wrong direction , Sanchez shares blame in this mess but the masterminds Tanny & Rex share a larger piece.

Competition. Keep the best QBs and cut the rest. Let iron sharpen iron. Sanchez is NOT the worst QB in that group, and he is going to cost you whether he's there or not. And then Gerrard/Geno/whoever will be cheered when enter and booed/demonized/run out of town when makes 1st mistake. It is the way of the Jet fan and the media.

Cutting someone you invested so much into - when part of his failures were your own fault (surrounding him with a crappy QB coach, two very crappy OCs, and a lack of depth and injury-riddled problems at OL, WRs, RBs, TEs...) just to make a point is what stupid organizations do. And petty fans mindlessly cheer for.

Then again... this is the Jets. And... well, these are Jets fans! With every QB since Namath and probably before.
