Better than what's available at RB sunshine. Ivory is tested and ready.

I do agree with you. Especially if he loses out to Garrard. he will sulk and smell up the lockerroom!

Yeah the decisive 4th round pick. Get out!

    Awesome
    Known commodity
No one can tell me that he wasn't better than any RB left on the board.
Gonna enjoy this season & hope Holmes can come back 100%.
If healthy Jets will surprise some people, Jet bashing has become fashionable, people were even mentioning expansion team, lol.

Yes they just announced that the Jets are working on a long term deal and he will be the featured back to replace Shaun Green.

Ivory, 25, has rushed 256 times for 1,307 yards (5.1 YPC) and eight touchdowns in his four-year NFL career while being criminally underutilized in the Saints' pass-happy offense. A ferociously physical runner with eye-popping lower-body explosion, Ivory should have no trouble beating out Mike Goodson for the Jets' starting job as rookie GM John Idzik's new Marshawn Lynch. (Idzik came from Seattle's front office.) Goodson now projects as the Jets' third-down back. Ivory will be a high-upside fantasy pick this season. He'll warrant consideration beginning in the third round of drafts.

Two running backs now on the Jets for this coming season I have actually heard of - Ivory and Goodson! Big improvement. Mayock et al 'oozing' with praise for the deal. "totally worth a 4th round pick"

love this. Not much RB or WR talent left in the draft. So far one of the best Jet drafts

And still 3 picks to go

    Idzik is owning this b*tch!
I'm definitely very happy about this draft so far. Get us a 5th for Sanchez and let's dump the salary, then we'll know he's owning this b*tch.

Of course, and I can find even more that get taken in the 4th round and later that suck. It depends on the year and who is left. You like Franklin, great. Maybe the Jets think the remaining RBs aren't as good as Ivory.

No. He was buried on the depth chart and sat out with some injuries.
