Sarcasm man. Saying if it was the Jets the pick would have been scrutinized and it would have just been "another addition to the circus."

God I hate the media. And the fact that opposing fans buy into it.

Be careful what you ask for. The jets created the circus and now cant escape. Tebow brought the national spot light, Sanchez implodes spectacularly and somewhat predictably and Rex continues to run the kid on the field as he humiliates himself, his teammates and the organization week after week. Mix in some butt fumbles, media faux pas, countless leaks and tattoos while the media howls with laughter. Getting rid of Tebow, Sanchez and Rex wont help now. The circus will leave town if Geno wins which i think he'll do in 2014. Great draft and Idzik is taking the right steps but its a process and will take time

Bullcrap! The Jets do what every other team in the NFL does. The Giants pick a guy with major motor problems what do you hear? Nothing! Pointing out all the combine int drops of the Top CB in the draft. Don't be scared to call it what it is.
Even Holmes stated the media just trying to stir up negative crap all the time with the Jets. Geno is a great pick any other place including the train wreck Raiders and Jags just not the Jets? Sanchez is the darling of the media now because we drafted another guy. If we did nothing they would be laughing at him non stop they way they did all last season. It's Rex's fault he cannot read a defense and runs into his own lineman? How come Schotty isn't being called inept with the Rams? Did he use the weapons he had with the Jets. He tried to but who was the one that could stop throwing INTs? Sanchez!

Rich Eisen is a big jets fan. and Mayock just made the point that the jets are having a good draft. minus geno.

Yeah?? Go ahead, enlighten us. What have we done the past two days or under Idziks short tenure so far that's deserved that utterly retarded label? I'm curious, because it's getting really obnoxious to listen to everybody in the world say that yet they can never back it up with good reasons.

So we're going to support our head coach coming to NY, acting like a professional wrestler as news conferences, guaranteeing Superbowls, release foot fetish tapes, and tattoo his wife in a Mark Sanchez jersey on his body..

..But we don't understand why we're referred to as a media circus.

We're a media circus, and always will be as long as the ring master is our head coach, because we made ourselves a circus.

Unfortunately we don't have a Men-in-Black memory flashing thing. We can't just say "ok guys, we don't want to be a circus anymore. We're not a circus now, we're serious, k guys?"

We're referred to as a circus because we are a circus, so we can put the victim cards away now

Lmao this post is such a joke its not even funny. Gonna take a shot in the dark and say you just referenced my post asking for reasons. Quote me next time.

Rex's tattoo was discovered because the NY Media sent reporters and photographers to follow him like f*cking TMZ on his vacation. That's is seriously where we are with the media. They stalked a friggin coach on his vacation because they were so disappointed that the so called "circus" didn't give the media hounds the opportunity to trash the team at the end of the year something that they've been looking forward to doing all year long with a press conference. Good for the team. After the anonymous quotes and all that stuff I would have done the same exact thing.

Who seriously gives a flying f what he has tattooed on his body? I mean really, other than over-sensitive crybabies who REALLY cares? When was the last time he had a crazy press conference or guaranteed a Super Bowl??? 2010? The media needs a circus. Unfortunately for them there isn't one any more so now they've resorted to creating it.

Everyone b****ing about us being circus are the ones who really need to STFU.

Ugh, Rex will never, ever coach this team from poolside, in a tropic local, shirtless.

What is or isn't tattoo'd on his body is pointless.

The media crossed the line and follows him on vacation and he's creating a circus?

    Sure, thats what he did.

No,because nobody cares about them....it's better to be mocked than ignored.

So essentially both of you are fine with circus antics but don't want the circus reputation. Rex Ryan, our head coach, can release fetish movies, but that's his business, right? And how dare they call us a circus?

    LOL!

    This thread is ridiculous.

He didn't release them with his f***ing name on it. It was discovered with a little detective work by the TMZ of sports Deadspin. Yes you dunce, it is his business. Unless he put it out himself as "Rex Ryan and Michelle Ryans foot fetish Extravaganza" and shoves it in the face of everyone, there is no reason to judge what another man does with his consenting wife in private. Many reporters around here who actually had morals felt that this story wasn't something that should be harped on. Its the man's wife. Where was the circus talk when ole Bill from New England was caught cheating on his wife? Or when Tom Terrific abandoned his pregnant wife?? You don't EVER hear about that sh*t. Grow up. You want drama? Go back to reading "STAR" magazine and stop following football. The unwarranted circus talk from fans around hear is becoming nauseating.

Or better yet, stop pretending like you understand anything related to football and just stop posting.

Love that this was your only response to what I just posted. You have no rebuttal. Keep crying.

Rex dodges a highly anticipated press conference where the questions will be about Sanchez's future, goes to a public airport full of jets fans flying with him to the Bahamas. Then takes off his shirt in a public resort full of ny fans with cell cameras. And the media is to blame?

Eisen is a comedian, he doesn't know squat about sports and has never played a sport in his soft life.

Cauldron? Where is this outrage when the eagles throw Barkley into their cauldron? The giants throw nassib into a Jim sorgi perma-state?

They show the NY Post front page which literally says Geno joins circus.

Then Eisen goes on to say that when Mark Sanchez is out there, the fans will be chanting tor Geno, as if we didn't sign Garrard to be the stopgap starter. Mayock says Sanchez is CLEARLY more talented than Geno....this is the same Sanchez who they have had the graphic popping up all draft about how Sanchez has the worst qb rating of any qb over the last three years.
You may not remember, but when Sanchez was drafted, Mayock had him listed as the best QB in the class, above Stafford and Freeman. Mayock simply does not retreat from his own analysis, even when he's completely wrong. Everybody else is mistaken, but not Mayock...

Yes, that IS HIS BUSINESS. Chad Ocho Cinco has a freakin' sex tape out there--- the media doesn't talk about it. Tom Brady got one woman pregnant, cheated on her, got another woman pregnant..... not exactly "normal", "role model"-like behavior. Kraft publicizes his wife's illness, then runs around with some twenty-something golddigger, immediately after her death..... also, does some ridiculous demo-tape with her. Belicheat, didn't just cheat on the field.... he cheated on his wife, too. It's not talked about, because it's personal, off the field business. Rex didn't create the scumbag media.... he just gets the blame for it, from ignorant, overly sensitive fans and the same scumbag media.
