2 3rds (if Revis is on TBs roster 3 days into new league yr--approx March 15, 2014--otherwise its a 4th) and 1 each the rest of the rounds...

Won't know if they get any comp picks until March 2014..

its a formula based on number of FAs lost - number of FAs signed, size of contracts etc...probably will but we'll see

According to Adam Schefter we should expect about 4 comp. picks in 2014

I heard someone say "12 picks" next year.

Speculation at this point ... there's a finite number of comp picks that the league gives out, so depends on the overall picture, not just us.

Guys we lost to teams that gave them decent deals : Landry, DeVito, Greene. Keller is unknown at this point. Slauson and Bell signed for peanuts.

So 4 is not unreasonable, but we won't know for sure, nor what rounds they're in, till next year.

    2 3rds - Revis

    2 4ths - Landry

    2 5ths Devito

    2 6ths - Greene/Keller

unless the Jets sign some FAs before the deadline, they should get 4 comp picks for losing DeVito, Keller, Greene, Slaussen, Landry and Bell and not signing many (any??) UFAs

They also get a third from Tampa for Revis

    Sounds Right

But I saw Schefter say we will be getting 4-5 extra comp picks...So maybe another 6th or 7th

What? Do you even understand how comp picks work?

    Do you?

Landry will net a comp 4th.

Devito will net a comp 5th.

Keller and Greene will net comp 6ths.

That is not what you posted. You had 2 thirds for Revis.......

Edit: I get how you posted it now, it was just confusing the way it was posted. And of note Brandon Moore could also help with extra picks.

I'm guessing a 5th, 6th, and two 7ths for all of our loses with Landry and Greene/ Devito bringing the higher picks.

I'm pretty sure 4 is the max you can have. You get the 4 highest. I'd be thrilled if Landry gets us a 4th. With 12 picks we can either move up for a Lee or try to land 2 firsts and get a Van Noy / Watkins.

    Wouldn't that be three sixths?

4 is the max amount of picks that can be awarded. 3rd round is the highest pick that a comp pick can be.

I think you are misinterpreting what his post was. I think he was saying you can only get a maximum of 4 comp picks which is correct. And you are correct with the fact that the earliest round you can get a pick in is 3.
