I wish him well. He got screwed when they brought him here and then jerked around every step of the way by the clowns in charge of this circus.

Yup, that sure is some fleecing
and mentioned in a thread celebrating the release of a player that cost a 4th, 6th and 4.1MM

Ivory was a great pickup, retail was the 2nd round tender, good deal for both

I have nothing against Tebow, but I'm glad he's gone. The jets handled him terribly from the get go. I hope they've learned their lesson.

    Good Luck to Tim.

He never should have been signed - what a colossal mistake!

You bother to look at his stats LAST YEAR?
Next we'll hear, "Hey, Jim Brown only averaged 5.0 for his career."
    He's a BUM.
Pats got Blount (better) for a 5th.

When trumpeting his stats, you might want to keep in mind that he was a small part of one of the NFL's most prolific offenses. Kinda helps when the defense has so many things to defend against.

Listen when Idzik says he's all about improvement through competition, he does not want to hand Geno the job

If Jets cut Sanchez they'd be just a Garrard injury away from throwing Smith in before he's ready. Sanchez isn't going anywhere yet guys

I'm sure someone posted this by now, but this is kind of insane:

@AdamSchefter: Jets had granted Tim Tebow permission this off-season to seek a trade. More than one tram asked if he were willing to play TE, but he was not.

@RichCimini Earlier in offseason, #Jets gave Tebow's agent permission to seek trade. Multiple tms called, asked if he'd switch pos's. Doesn't want to.

This explains a little of why the Jets didn't just want to cut him. If teams were willing to trade, then why should the Jets just cut him.

    Ivory: 40 attempts, 217 yards, 5.4 ypc

    Blount: 41 attempts, 151 yards, 3.7 ypc

You like Blount better, so be it. Ivory has more upside and is a better break-away back. And didn't Blount go for Demps and a 7th round pick, which mitigates the 5th?

Re the "bum" comment, I'm not sure why you're so f'n hostile all the time. Irritating.

    @jayglazer

It's hard to do business with Tim Tebow. The constant pressure on coaches to play him & circus that follows, it's just hard to do biz w him

And BTW, he chose Jets over Jags bc he knew neither coach nor GM in J'Ville wanted him, only owner was pushing for him

Because he knows nothing about football. Absolutely nothing. He calls Ivory a bum yet Blount is the one who punched a player after a game. Which one is the bum again?

Ivory is a perfect back for the WCO. Young (25), fast and can catch. But palmetto bug defender wouldn't know that. It's All Negative, All the Time with him.
