My black lab/chow mix is 10. I'm gonna be a mess when she goes.

Hope you can find an easy fix for her. Keep us posted please.

Beside's that though....thoughts and prayers. The little buggers work their way into your heart don't they?

and I certainly understand finances and vets. just do all you can, your pet understands. good luck.

Please let us know what happens. Wishing you the best.

I have a baby girl that is getting up there in age. She's helped me through some tough Jets games. Everyday is a blessing.

Age shouldn't matter, vets are listed who will spay your dog for very little money. It's a great program.

Best of luck, dogs are great companions. No homo? Is that the cool thing to say in here?

I think JT had that. (In this sad time, hope this gave you a chuckle.)

Very sorry to hear that your pal is going through this. She sounds like an amazing dog.

The kids will be sad but they are very resilient! I had to do this a few times and yes its heart-breaking but they will be OK, trust me. Be honest and with them and talk it through. It will mean alot to them to have their Dad be honest and open about it. Having you talk them through it will help them a great deal.
