I really thought he was going to blast the Jets but he didn't. He sounded a lot different than the last time he was on. He made a lot of sense and really put to bed the idea the Jets don't know what they are trying to do going forward. He clarified Tebow's use and the crap Skip Bayless said today on air and tv.
i never thought what he originally said about tebow being a disaster was anything terrible. its totally true. can't understand why fans were in such a tizzy over it.
I think it was in context to the way the Jets were being crucified by the media after the season. When Westoff chimed in it just gave more ammo. He talked about Tebow actually doing what they wanted him for until he got hurt. Even Westoff said Tebow is just not better than Mark as a QB. That ends the nonsense Rex was too scared to put Tebow in because of his fans. There is this notion Tebow is a free lancer so he can't show anything in practice. Were the Jets supposed to ignore practice and put him in anyway. If he was that good Denver wouldn't have even looked at Manning. Manning may be a HOF but none of the teams sure of their QB situation even tried to get Manning. Why doesn't Denver get any heat rounds for getting rid of him in the first place.
