I don't think people are asking hardcore Christians to accept it or forcing them to..., it's just that they are usually the one's speaking out against it. If they choose to accept it or not, that's their decision. They aren't the ones committing "sin." Why should they care what other's do.

I THINK there have been more recent polls that have proven otherwise. The fact is, the NFL wants to get all sensitive about the gay population, but ignores the fact that one of their franchises has a nickname that's offensive to a segment of the population. Historical fact: Guess which franchise was the last one to integrate and have an African American on their team? The "Redskins". Ironic?

Personally, I could care less, but living in "Redskin country", I love hearing their fan base get their panties in a bunch about the prospect of the name being changed.

My hometown changed their name from Redmen to Red Hawks.

The battled for years over it. They still fight about it.

Maybe your reading comprehension skills are off just tad?

No sh*t he has to be put to trial. But it's a slam dunk case. Open and shut. They have him on f*cking tape you dingbat.

But along those lines and you saying stupid sh*t in response to something that I posted that clearly was NOT deserving of an idiotic response...

Do you LIVE in Ogunquit? Because it appears you may just be one of them.

Indeed when the Redskins were asked to get a black football player the owner's response was simple. "You want us to have a black player give us Jim Brown".

Shouldn't the title of the thread be changed since, you know, RG3 wasn't speaking out against Jason Collins?

I prefer they keep the Redskins name simply because that's the name I'm used to and i like tradition in sports (I still can't beleive the Bullets pussed out and became the Wizards) but it's pretty hard to defend a name that racist, especially when you know the racist history of that organization.

Nobody can twist the worlds of a public figure more so than a New York Jets fan message board.

How the hell are we supposed to protect our own country when political correctness has gone awry the way it has?

In fact, they won't even give FBI agents such training to deal with or be prepared in the event of a "jihadist" event in our country.

When did it happen that "AMERICAN CITIZENS" became a minority in our OWN country?

Look at the logo for the AAA baseball team the Syracuse Chiefs. Once a proud "Indian" in a headdress to a locomotive puffing out a big C? What's a train got to do with Chief?

I think names like Chief, Indians, Tribe, Warriors and Braves are ok. The others, not so much.

Did you know the NCAA, strong armed William and Mary to take the feathers off their logo, so now it's a plain WM? They were called the "Indians" and nicknamed "The Tribe". The had to drop the Indians name too, so now they're just "The Tribe".

    +1

When a country has a revolution and the new govt. is going to be either a dictatorship, fascist, communist or socialist the first thing they do is round up the lawyers. Kind of fitting really.

But I would think there has to be some credence to it. Look at what the Obama administration did with Johar Tsarnaev. They gave him his miranda rights after only two days.

You tell me, WHAT harm could it have possibly done to hold him as an enemy combatant? To water board him in Cuba and try to gather as much intelligence as they can? Could it have possibly done ANYTHING bad to the investigation or eventual prosecution?

The Supreme court already stipulated that there are exceptions to mirandizing american citizens. They can be treated as enemy combatants for up to 30 days, if the gov't sees fit.

What part of the Tsarnaev's brothers actions could NOT be considered actions of an enemy combatant? Is there ANYTHING? They were radical jihadists that chose to try to kill and mame innocent american citizens.

It would have done absolutely no harm whatsoever to treat Tsarnaev as an enemy combatant, mirandize him after 30 days of "intelligence gathering" and then put him to death. He's obviously guilty. We all know it. He was caught on surveillance images for christ sake. It's an open and shut case. A slam dunk, if you will.

But instead the Obama administration in their "politically correct" ways insisted on mirandizing him and bringing him through the civilian court system. To prove what point? That the civilian court system actually works? We all know that. NO ONE denies that.

But now that he's been mirandized, he was assigned a lawyer and you know what happens after that. he was automatically given the order to STFU and speak ONLY to his lawyer. Now the FBI and CIA and whoever else will NO additional intelligence to keep americans safer in the future.

That's just one example of many I could point out. It's political correctness to the point of stupidity.
I'm sorry, but Sean Hannity is an opportunistic phony. American citizen. American soil. The law is clear.

True. But sex through a hole in a sheet, fornication a sin, masturbation a sin, sex only for procreation, condemnation of lust... no question most organized religions generally have a real hard time with our natural impulses. As H.L. Mencken once wrote: "The Puritans had a fear that somehow, somewhere, somebody was having a good time."
