challenging their beliefs in the public square is not the same as "force the christian religion to accept change their entire beliefs of over thousands of years [sic]"

And no, something isn't "just as tyrannic [sic]" as something else based on how long the practice has been going on.

It's a very general statement, and I would not be the least bit surprised if it's another example of poor and lazy journalism.

It's pretty funny that anti gay religions also teach that their church leaders should be celibate and spend their lives not getting p*ssy.

That sounds pretty damn gay to me.

Some long haired dude that spent his adult life hanging out with 12 other dudes...that's what your religion based off of?

    LMFAO....

Oh please. Christians are some of the most hypocritical people on earth.

    Eating the blood of animals.
    Eating Pork.
    Eating Fat.
Eating Lobsters, crabs, and other non finned/scaled aquatic animals.
    Working on Sabbath.
Planting more than 1 seed in a field.
    Clothing made of multiple cloths.
    Cutting hair on sides.
    Cutting beards on sides.
    Touching a dead pig.
Disobedience, if you are a slave.
    Being a rape victim.

These are all things that are prohibited by the bible.

Not to mention Jesus was kind of a socialist, putting it lightly. lol

Don't tell the Christian right that, though.

Um, no. Those were regulations for the Jewish people that were clearly never put on humanity in general.

Having said that, can someone explain why it's apparently OK for gays to get up in arms over something, but Native Americans can't?

LOL....the level of religious ignorance here is frightening. I'm still waiting to hear which of the Ten Commandments "literally prohibits homosexuality", or even gay marriage for that matter.

And the tweets about the push to rename the Redskins to the RedTails.

The only religious ignorance here is your own. Any good Christian knows the commandment: "Thou Shalt Not Pack The Fudge Of Thy Brother."

This bull crap discussion again.. ugh..

First off I was raised Catholic, but I have no issues with homosexuals or anything they do or what they CHOOSE to believe in.

If they wanna be gay and believe in the Christian God then why care? Murderers and rapists pray to God and there aren't protests against that.

One of the ten commandments is "Thou shalt not commit adultery". The Christian bible makes it clear sexual relations are meant only for procreation. Any pre-marital sex is considered to be a sin. Any sex for anything other than procreation is a sin. I had sex for the first time at 16 and she sure didn't get pregnant because I used this thing called a condom that according to the bible should never even exist!

So if all of these homophobes weren't Virgins until their honey moon and didn't rap up and have only had sex the amount of times they tried to conceive then they need to STFU, nut up and stop using a book riddled with rules we break day in and day out to support their opinion.
