What's the point of having Tampax Abe on the roster when you know come January he won't be around because he'll come down with a flu or a hang nail and have to miss time or play sparingly?

No one is going to pay him the money he seeks. Atlanta let him walk and signed Osi because they know that Osi gets it done when it matters most. Tampax Abe has always piled up the numbers in a handful of games, disappears for half of them and is never around in the postseason. They made the right decision because no wants him.

Good to Great player when he played. But he always seemed to get hurt (or sick) at the most inopportune times.

And not just with the Jets...

No, that's not why they let him go. They let him go because he's 35 years old. They got younger with Osi.

He stated hes just frustrated with the lack of interest at his current asking price. At 35 im sure he still has plenty left in the tank. Id take him in a heart beat
