You're all crazy if you think anyone in the government is on your side. They want your votes. They want as much power and money as they can get without losing your votes. That's the only thing they care about. The best thing to have is a balance so that they can keep each other from doing to many crazy things. If either side gets everything they want the country's going over to the dark side. Looks like that just might happen soon.

You're all crazy if you think anyone in the Jets organization is on your side. They want your season ticket money. They want as much money as they can get without losing you as a fan. That's the only thing they care about. The best thing to have is a balance of offense and defense, so that they can keep each other from being a completely lopsided team and doing crazy things. If either side gets everything they want, the team's going over to the dark side. Looks like that just might happen soon.

FOX is a great source for independent slants on stories.

Huffington Post is the worst kind democrat dingbat stupid sh*t I've ever seen. The stories aren't even worth the time spend preparing them.

What oil? Oil prices remain through the roof... Well they did get the opium fields though.

    Mainejet,

As a young conservative, I've grown tired of Fox News' independent slant - and yearn for a cable news source that is more in line with my conservative principles.

Do you have any recommendations for news sources more "to the right" than Fox now that Leni Riefenstahl has stopped making documentaries?

Not on television. But CNS.com, townhall.com are highly regarded conservative news sites. My favorite and what I feel is non bias is RT.com. Though if anything it is more libertarian leaning.

considering that the libs apparently think wmd's are in the eyes of the beholder (see what they call assault weapons in the wake of newtown) it is safe to say that saddam did indeed have them. but we all must remember that decisions are made on the best available intelligence at the time. just about every western intelligence agency claimed that saddam not only had wmd's but also that he was actively pursuing yellowcake. and the simple fact that we have not found any (or at least are not admitting it) doesn't mean they weren't moved like to syria for pinhead assad. i remember reading an article in the financial times that was buried that indicated that saddam before the iraq invasion was trying to purchase yellowcake (uranium ore) from nigeria. of course joe wilson (a drunken bum) couldn't find any evidence.

Unfortunately, no, I do not. I wish I had a better answer for you.

I always try to hear both sides of issues. I do read CNN and MSNBC (of all things) to try and get the lefts take on things.

I always then read FOX to gain a little more opinion on the issue at hand.

Always trying to remain objective about the things I follow.

But one thing I could suggest is to listen to SiriusXM and Patriot radio. If you don't have Sirius, you should get it. I love it and have completely given up on regular radio.

In particular, you could listen to ANDY WILCOW. He's on normally from 1100 to 1500 I believe. Most normally, I catch the rerun the next morning early at 0400 to about 0515.

Andy Wilcow puts things in such great perspective. He explains the issue and then presents the lefts version (normally via sound bites of left politicians and public figures) and then presents his version.

He says in all of his debuts that he is an individual patriot first, conservative second, and republican third.

He never goes to commercial break before stating, "This is Andy Wilcow and the wilcow majority. The arguments on this radio program CANNOT be broken.

Just as a side note, I gave up listening to Rush Limbaugh long ago. I think he's a fat loudmouth who couldn't notice an objective opinion on something if it fell on him and crushed him.

But Andy Wilcow is definitely something you should try. The guy is from Long Island. He was adopted as a kid. He's a redneck in a lot of ways. Just a regular guy who very much believes in conservative values. He believes we are bound by the constitution, as do I.
