    Toyota Highlander
Toyota FJ Cruiser (completely impractical but I love these)
Subaru Tribeca (brother in law works for Subaru otherwise this probably wouldn't be on the list)
Subaru Crosstek (too small, but love these too)
Toyota 4Runner (the new redesign is kinda hideous though)
Honda Pilot (see above, anyone know if these are due for a facelift?)

Definitely looking mid-size SUV, would prefer something a little smaller but need something larger for overpacking on vacations, etc.

Editorial note: How I anticipate this thread going:
hopefully you're not inferring the thread I started inquiring about large SUV's was to impress anyone...I settled on a Suburban LTZ fyi

    That wasn't me, bro.

I've been banned twice in 7 years. Both WCO Official bans.

Last time it was for a comment about a QB and nachos. Not my best moment.

WCO bans have a 3 hour time difference. West coast and stuff....

    Well *****es, today's the day.

I will be sure to regale you with tales of fear & loathing at the dealership should they apply, which they most certainly will.

Driving nearly 2 hours away to get this deal, it better be worth it.

If your deal is for a 2014 Forester, then it will certainly be worth it

I think I got dealt a ****hand, but what is done is done.
I think I am lucky that the 4Runner I traded in even survived the 2 hour trip without one of the wheels flying right off, or blowing the tranny.

Anyway went with the '13 Toyota Highlander, needed that 3rd row seat in the worst way. Now my wife will steal it on me all the time.

It's ok to blow a female-to-male tranny because they're still genetically female. Eating out a male-to-female tranny would be the peak of faggotry.

Was your old one a 4runner or did you get a lemon?

The 3rd gen 4runners are the best.

The new ones suck. And the newest ones have some kind of weird "unibody" design... shame they had to ruin a good thing.

I had a 2001, so I think it was 3rd gen - I didn't get a lemon, just getting on in years (and miles). Needed something with a third row seat at well, and frankly the Pilot just didnt do it for me. The .9 APR sealed the deal on the Highlander.

    Yep, that's a 3rd gen.

I'd take a Highlander over a Pilot anyday
