Too PC. How can you get caught anymore red handed? Seriously!

Makes me sick... he's not a suspect. He's guilty. End of story.
As frustrating as it is...Do you trust the press to decide whether criminals are guilty or wait for the trial?

i.e.: The 2 innocent kids at the Marathon on the cover of the Post.

Dont read so much into it...it just means he hasn't had his trial yet.

Er...innocent until proven guilty...its ridiculous until you are the one the media is piling on. (see Richard Jewell, Atlanta bombing).

If this guy is guilty, it will be proven in court.

    SO was Jewell.

Without one piece of evidence linking him to building/planting the bomb other than he found it before the real bomber called in the threat, the FBI allowed his name to float as a suspect and the media ran with it.

All I'm saying is the media (and even Law enforcement) can make anything look "obvious" in a 24 hour news cycle.

I'm all for questioning the media in terms or proving guilt or innocence, but this case doesn't apply in my opinion. Woman escapes from house, says she was held against her will for 10 years. Seems like an open and shut case to me. In a case like this the guy is guilty until proven innocent in my eyes.

Gunman stopped by police... also an open and shut case.

I agree when it's not 100% confirmed that the guy in custody is guilty of the crime... in this case, it doesn't apply.

It always applies, because two guys sitting home watching TV should not hold someone's life in their hands.

    And we don't

I dont see the harm in convicting this guy in my own personal opinion, obviously not a court of law.

    Come on man...

The bastard had these girls TRAPPED in HIS house!

He made measures to try to ensure they would not be able to get out!

That awesomely hilarious dude had to kick the door in because the girl couldn't get it open.

That said, I'm a little surprised at this viewpoint coming from a PO

Lol, thats fine, Ive convicted the guy too....but it has no bearing on whether the media refers to him as "the suspect". Right now, he's the suspect.

I know he's the suspect, it just sound ridiculous for him to be referred to in that way when there is a 99.999999999999999 percent chance he is guilty.

    Ok enough of that nonsense.

Someone get this thread back on track fast with something else from Mr. Ramsey.
